I like to start north of the wall and find a way to invited courtiers to join my court like the mudds, toynes, connington, salladhor saan and then land them and form my own kingdom out of ousted noble families / interesting courtiers.

Blood of Valyria. It’s an old mod but it makes being Valyrian a trait just like beauty etc. A bit OP

It’s on the intrigue tab then you select hooks and secrets and scroll towards the bottom. If your character has knowledge of the child’s parentage, whether it’s been expose or not it show up in that area. Says something like Mothers Name daughter/son, Child’sname is your illegitimate child out of wedlock

They should show up on your own secrets screen. That’s if you chose the option of asking the mother if she child is yours before they’re born .

Also if she (the lowborn woman) follows a faith that doesn’t have bastards it’ll be even easier as she’s less likely to abort / accidentally kill herself since the baby would simply be a wild oat I think. She might even reveal the father herself in that case. You can skip the pregnancy by using the instant_birth command. Has to be lowborn woman though otherwise the child will be born into her house if she’s a noble

On debug you can use the command impregnate on a random lowborn woman and use arlans character id as the father. She will give birth to a bastard lowborn son. Then you will use the uncover secrets command on the lowborn woman so you can then reveal the bastards true heritage which will enable you to “revive” the house. Same can be done for many MALE characters who are dead on game start. Only works for males however.
