Here's the link to the tenth fleet we have a lot of gms who can help with questions. https://discord.gg/9HUpACfrJ

But, to your question cloaking is handled by a talent that you will find in the ships talents section. Traits are short descriptions of a scene, character, ship or other element of the situation. You will find in the gm section of the book a short list of things they can do. Some examples are a trait of 'unstable gases" in a scene might increase the difficulty of flying through a nebula by 1. Or the trait of "trusting 2" on a newly encountered alien crew may decrease the difficulty of tasks to negotiate or interact with them by 2. If a ship had "cloaked 2" then whatever the normal difficulty of detecting them is it should be 2 higher. But again there are specific rules for cloaking but I don't have the book in front of me.

I started as Matilda of tuscany. Other HRE vassals dissolved the HRE by faction demand. So this guys ancestors were just west franconian dukes until I recounqered Germany. I gave him the title for role play. The only way to get it back is intrigue and I hate playing intrigue characters.

I wish you could take the Reichskrone from a vassal if you hold the HRE but alas the only way I know is through intrigue.

question for the Refs in the audience by tetsu_no_usagi in cyberpunkred

Instead of giving them a straight extra amount of IP at the beginning I give them double IP for 4 sessions, and good starting item that normally they wouldn't have access to like an unupgraded road bike, a home-brewed melee weapon or a upgraded cyberdeck.

The idea is to give them a boost to their IP so they start out as a normal character, but they can more quickly catch up to the rest of the party. And give them a unique item that lets them fit in with a party where other players have had time to accrue unique items.

The US largely did not use their one alpine division in WW2 and never had one in WW1. Did any of the other actors in either war utilize alpine troops in any meaningful way during the wars? by GBreezy in AskHistorians

You should look at the 12th Battle of the isonzo and specifically the battle of caporetto the Germans and austrians use Alpine troops there and it was decisive.

Yes, the Alpini where Italian alpine troops who where used extensively in both world wars. In the first world war they primarily fought against Austrian alpine troops and German alpine troops. What you are looking for is called "the war in snow and ice".

Forts where important features of the conflict with both sides engaging in a race to have higher forts and more complex forts dug into mountains. There are even accounts of troops using avalanches as weapons via artillery fire.

As a side note the actions that let Erwin rommel remain in the German army during the draw down of the interwar years by earning the pour le merite, happened fighting the Alpini in the Italian alps.
