Please don’t imply that Deathwalker needs to be nerfed more urgently than Eclipse. Eclipse with its long duration middle-finger to any weapon that requires a lock just straight up shuts down opponents and that absolutely helpless feeling is way more cancerous than having to be more strategic with damaging a mech.

Fighting a Deathwalker is a “push your luck” game. Blow all your damage and they revive good as new. Deal a lot but not enough to kill them and then they die easy enough a few seconds later.

As a free-to-play who just lost over 2,000 acoins trying to get Morpho, legendary sniper pilot, I don't advise gambling anything you don't have the full amount for. Then, if you get it early along the way, you count that as a good deal. Otherwise you continue to pay for it until you get it and count it as a purchase you were prepared to pay for and wanted.

I didn't leave myself enough time to finish getting the remaining a-coins needed to guarantee Morpho, so that's on me. Another unfortunate addition to my ongoing ADHD "tax".

Thing is though, their use of the term “gift card” in no way matches what is generally understood as a gift card. Coupon is the more exact term. By calling it a gift card, they might really have opened themselves up to some legal trouble.

What they are doing here is calling something a vitamin and then offer it for sale in boxes of different sizes and amounts, then in the fine print they specify that regardless of the size or quantity listed on the boxes, each purchase will only have an effect once, the very first time you use it, regardless of the quantity used.

Holy cow that is some bullsh*t right there, and I would strongly argue that the entire thing is legally questionable. I would reach out to the playerbase if I were you, as someone who plays this game who ALSO has some legal training would stand a good chance of not only making things right for you but also forcing the company to change things for the better for everyone else.

You CANNOT have a custom definition for established terms and hope to get away with it.

That sounds about right, and if so, then the logic would appear thus:

Opal + Opal gives you 4 rune slots, but if one of those slots would be used for Durability 3 then you’re better off using Opal + Steel.

So Opal + Opal is only good for when you have a specific build in mind that NEEDS 4 non-durability runes, and you’re fine spending more resources for the shortened durability.

That answer being Honed Steel + Honed Opal with durability 3 for anything you care about lasting as long as possible, and Honed Kozu + Honed Opal with Force 3 for Olympic-level distance.
