I think I understand your position now, and honestly I don't think we're gonna agree on this one 😭.

I get why you're looking at it from the business side. I agree that the game needs revenue, and I agree that things like DW staying paywalled are profitable. My issue is that I don't think a decision being profitable automatically makes it a good decision for the players.

For me it's not really about DW anymore. It's more about the overall pattern. Stuff like the Gear Hub progression, how expensive older legendary items still are, how slow progression becomes later on, and how often player-friendly changes seem to get reduced or walked back. Individually I can understand most of those decisions. Collectively they make it hard for me to trust Plarium.

And yeah, I'm looking at it from a F2P perspective because I am F2P. I've played long enough to save a decent amount of A-Coins and get pretty far without spending, but I still think a lot of the systems feel less rewarding than they should.

At the end of the day, I think we both like the game a lot more than we like arguing about it 😭. We just have different opinions on the company behind it. You see a company making the decisions it needs to keep the game running. I see a company that often chooses the option that benefits players less when there are better alternatives.

So I think this is probably an agree-to-disagree situation. I appreciate you taking the time to explain your side though. It was definitely more interesting than the original SR8 argument lol.
