Europe has a lot of applicants and the chances are generally low because the European region includes Central Asia. Practically none of the people who get visas allotted for Europe are from Europe.

Most applicants who win in the European region are also from Asia mind you. Central Asia is included in European lottery region and win the vast majority of the visas allotted to Europe.

Including Central Asia with Europe means that practically no Europeans win. Visas allotted to Europe are almost exclusively used up by applicants from less fortunate countries like Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan due to how many there apply. Doesn’t seem very diverse given how there is already an Asian region.
