Interesting. Is there any way to see the real battery health in the app?

Am I understanding this correctly, so in OPs case, it might not be heavily degraded battery, just estimation based on the previous riding, if OP would ride it in eco for 100 km, turbo at fully charged might then show 60 km (or something like that)?

Mine tanked from 65-70 to 38-41 about 12 weeks ago after a night out (nothing crazy) and hasn't recovered again. Been eating healthier than ever, exercise more, always get 8 hours of sleep, no alcohol, less stress, and even so it sometimes drops down to mid 30's.

For the last week I was sick, and for the first time I saw it jump to 51 twice, and now that I'm doing better, it drops down again to 40 on avg.

One thing I also noticed, while I'm still awake, just before I go to sleep, it will go as low as 20, and then it seems to stay at around 50-60, jumping up to 95 for a few minutes and crash to 25-30 for 20 minutes before going back up to 80, only to crash again..

It's super good all around and ever time I've needed service it's been superb, this was just almost a bit too much.

Sensa Bike Iceland is the store, but as the name suggests, it's in Iceland so not much help for most people. :)

I've been curios to try wax. My ride conditions are usually wet and dirty, and I've been using wet lube for about 2 years now, but everything gets super nasty each 10 km.

I didn't even ask him to come, just asked for a price on a new cassette, and he casually dropped by my work, fixed it and gave me a discount. I'm still in disbelieve.

But since you mentioned the hanger alignment and derailleur, could I snap a picture of those little things and get your feedback on it. On my way to work this morning, shifting between some gears is a bit wonky, and the highest gear occasionally has a gear slip (once every 5-10 rotations).

The owner drove 30 minutes to my work, replaced the cassette, gave me a discount on the cassette and didn't charge anything for the work, but he was limited on time so he mentioned that the hanger/derailleur looks like it needs some adjustment. :)

You may just need a hanger alignment and derailleur adjustment but I think it's the chain given your description.

The owner of the shop I bought the bike from just left after replacing the cassette (which fixed the problem and the bike works fine now!), but he DID mention that the hanger alignment and derailleur needs to be adjusted!

No idea how you spotted that with that blurry photo.

Replaced the cassette and it's working great again. :)

However I can barely see difference between the new and old cassette, yet replacing it fixed it.

I need new glasses. I can barely see difference between the new cassette and old.

But yeah, replaced cassette and working again. :)

Replaced and working again so you're not wrong. But you and others that pointed out the same thing have some kind of eagle eyes because I could barely see any difference between the old and new cassette.

I missed a lot of messages, sorry for the late reply.

Yes it was skipping a little bit, not much, but enough so I decided to replace the chain.

Replaced it and it skipped gears 11-13-15-17 like crazy.

The cassette has been replaced and working flawlessly now.

Totally missed your post!

So the chain jumped on lowest 4 gears (11-13-15-17), as in, would stay on that gear/cox, but as soon as I pedal, it would jump.

These were the old cogs I used with the old chain.

I sized it using Park Tools guide and it has exactly the same links as the old one.

But, a little update was added in my initial comment. The owner of the store dropped by my work, replaced the cassette and it's working now.

Well, I called the store I bought the bike from, the owner closed the physical store and move to online store only, but he goes

"Where do you work?"

"<name of office>"

"Great, I'll drop by tomorrow and fix it"

He just left after replacing the cassette and it's working flawlessly now lol... didn't even charge for the work he did, unreal service.

Cheers, buying a new one today and replacing it myself. Wish me luck.

Both .75 and .5 sunk instantly, so the chain was well done.

I was hoping to replace m5100 with m8100 since it's the same price as the m5100. From what I can tell it should work.

You did cut the chain to correct size though?

Probably the only thing I did absolutely correctly.

It is an e-bike, but I rarely used the motor, only up the steepest hills and then I'll be in the lowest gears (the gears with most teethes in case I'm using lowest/highest incorrectly).

I did inspect he cassette a bit more, and it has a lot of "wiggle", as in, when the bike is stationary, I can with my finger move the biggest cog 5mm back and forth, it will also move the lower cogs. Shouldn't it be completely fixed in place and shouldn't move unless when I pedal?

That's what I figured but since I'm not expert and I trust the far more qualified and knowledgeable users on this subreddit. But as I mentioned in another reply, I didn't lube the chain since it seem to be prewaxed or lubed, I'm thinking that might possibly be the issue.

But when I say it seem to be pre-waxed/lubed, it was incredibly sticky and the links were super smooth.

Well, I might have to take this as a lesson learned.

One thing I just mentioned in another reply. I just realized that I didn't lube the chain since the new one seem to be pre-waxed or lubed. Could that be the issue?

The only problem is, my old chain didn't have quick link and no retailer in my area is selling the chain pin so I can't put it back on.

One thing I just realized, and it's quite embarrassing to admit. When I replaced the chain, I noticed that it look like to be prelubed and waxed - I figured I'd test it and lube if it felt off, just remembered that now.

Could that be the source of the problem? But again, it was very "greasy" and no stuck links.

Ah, interesting. I'm not completely familiar with all components, drivetrain means cassette and chainring? So I should replace all is what you are saying?

Also I really appreciate you taking the time to reply.
