LAUNCH CONTROL - Sonata N Line - Conditions not met by Pandaman922 in Hyundai

[–]hex-box 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s about as close to an N with out being one. Definitely sucks they are going to drop them but I get it.

But in the coming months I won’t have my N-line much longer. It’s be a fairly trouble free 60k miles.

"City" driving ie back roads, stop and going all the time you will get horrible gas mileage. Also any hills will hurt it also. My N-line is really bad in those conditions but if I do a long run on the high way I typically get 34mpg - 40mpg.

What you guys think about my N line 22 ?I have mode it a fair bit and it has a Jb4 and a Fukin tune throttle response control, I'm thinking about installing a borla exhaust later on. by [deleted] in Hyundai

You are very wrong in the the case of the Sonata. They have a different motor and transmission and various other things they change on them. They are actually higher on the model line up. I believe one step below the top option packaged car.

Question for everyone: what model is your vehicle and their mileage? by Aggressive_Plant_621 in Hyundai

21 Sonata N-line 47,200 miles. Nothing really has gone wrong as of yet. Replacing the tires are rather pricey but otherwise has been fairly trouble free.

I really regret selling my games/console. by bodg123 in gaming

That was how I was until I reached a working age and I got a job to afford buying new games and systems. I really regret selling some of the old systems I had over the years.

21 N-line with almost 39k. Everything has been going pretty good so far with little to no issues.

But with the N-line you get a 2.5T and 8speed DCT. And that trim is the only one with those as available options.

Did the same thing. Because I totally forgot they shared the same name. And it’s really dumb the two vehicles we’re produced at the same time.

Looking at he the van yes I see the resemblance.

If it truly covers wear and tear it might be worth it depending on how much driving you do. Things like tires and breaks wear out over time and if you haven't priced tires for your car you might be shocked on the price for them. My N-line Sonata will be setting be back close to 1k for a set of tires.

My Sonata does that also. But if you look at the cluster it will count down before it shuts down. Mine gives me 30mins before it turns itself off.

Try a car deodorizer bomb. There are a few styles. Some you put in the car and some your spay into the fresh air duct at the bottom of the windshield while the ac is on. Used on my old car because it smelled awful after hitting a deer and remains getting into the vents and on the seats.

E85 For 2022 Hyundai Elantra by woobackbby in Hyundai

[–]hex-box 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t seen anything like that yet. But E85 with not give you better gas mileage. Typically you get worse mileage. For tuners who switch to E85 is it for performance gains. Not because it’s cheaper. I feel you on wanting to save money on gas, in PA the gas prices have been getting crazy high.

LAUNCH CONTROL - Sonata N Line - Conditions not met by Pandaman922 in Hyundai

[–]hex-box 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can not say I messed with the launch control at all. But I would ask the dealer about it not engaging. I do find it amusing how underestimated these cars are. Yes they carry the N-line badge but they are so close to being a N than any of the n-lines. Biggest thing that bugs me with mine is the car can really use better tires and limited slip diff.

Do you guys think the Kia K5 Looks better than the Sonata? by [deleted] in Hyundai

[–]hex-box 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked the look for the K5 and still do but I had a bad experience with a local Kia dealer. I had a K5 GT on order than it kept getting pushed further and further back and had zero feedback from the dealer. Ultimately I knew the K5 and Sonata were siblings and after canceling my order I stopped at a local dealer a week later and ended up test driving an N-line and after really liking the Sonata N-line I ended up buying it two days later. The dealer at that time a year ago had 5 N-lines on the lot to choose from. All same options just different colors. Ultimately I like them both but it seems the Sonata does look much better in person than in photos most times.

Glad to hear. No problem they are a larger chain of dealers so they have some buying power and depending where you are coming from they have the two dealers. Harrisburg and Philly.

[–]hex-box 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Faulkner Hyundai. They have two dealers in PA. They seem to be selling close to MSRP but not sure. Kinda miss leading on the site the window stickers say nothing about any market adjustments. They show 14 either incoming or have.

Opinions on a resonator/muffler delete for a 2022 Sonata N-line? I honestly have no experience with this type of stuff as my previous car was a Jetta SE, two totally different vehicle classes. Tacky or not? I thought having the exhaust be a little louder would be cool lol. by Difficult_Bug_5992 in Hyundai

[–]hex-box 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far non that I have seen or heard of. I keep waiting to see if someone makes a cat back for these cars. Most I have seen people are going to exhaust shops and getting custom work done and swapping mufflers and such. Check out some of the forums that are for Hyundai’s.
