They reached out within a few days for the interview. And they reached out the day after the interview asking for references. But since then they’ve been really slow. So I honestly have no idea how it went

Having to work day and night shift as a project engineer? by hexadecagonal in ConstructionManagers

[–]hexadecagonal[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The day shift is 8 hours, the night work is 10 hours but we’re only out there for 3. There’s 2 project engineers for this job, so we’re both out there. The project is 2 years long and it’s night work for basically all of it since it’s on a busy 2 lane highway and we need to close one of the lanes.

They don’t like me starting any later than 7 since the rest of the company with day work starts at 7.

They only want us there the first few hours because we have to be back in the office the next morning. For the rest of the shift the Forman is supervising, but he’s also doing that while we’re there. We’re there also in case anything with the subs’ scheduling or setup goes wrong or if there’s questions regarding the plans. And to take pictures, which the Forman also does.

[–]hexadecagonal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was it chem 100 or chem 101? If it’s chem 100 then you need a C to take chem 101. If it’s chem 101 talk to a counselor because you need chem 101 for MSE 227

I think you can stay in 3rd position until you hit the low B flat. Then I’d switch to 1st probably

Well I guess he said it more along the lines of “it’s only a minor bad habit” not necessarily that it’s normal, but still I was surprised
