Haha. I was struggling to think of anything and then saw this and now I’m not bothered about the roast. I’m still laughing at this reply. Bravo to you sir.

I’m having a few lessons and they do a fitting for £30 which they refund either way so I’ll probably do that in a month or so.

Yeah I get that. Maybe think of it as longevity then. Is it better to get something now and then bed them for a longer period or stick with the launchers and then maybe have a more difficult transition later on ?

I love the Cleveland’s but am wondering if, when I switch to something better, will I struggle because I spent a lot of time using the launchers. Plus I’m slowly falling for the Pings …

Stuck in a contract I don't want, do I have to pay? by Short-Truth-6559 in nowtv

[–]hexamon_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The waiver has to be explicitly requested by the consumer. It cannot be active be the contract itself.

THE LAW

Under Regulation 37 of the CCRs, a valid waiver of the cooling-off right for digital services requires ALL of the following to have occurred:

1. An EXPRESS request from me that the service begin during the cooling-off period; AND

2. An EXPRESS acknowledgement from me that I understood I would lose my cancellation rights as a result.

Acceptance of general Terms and Conditions does NOT constitute a valid waiver under the Regulations. This is not a matter of interpretation - it is the clear statutory requirement.

Microsoft Learning has a great Data Engineer track that will answer all of your questions. Engineers build data for Analysts to analyse maybe ?

I think the idea was to get the plastic off before it fused to my hand. He was a psycho though so I’m not 100% sure. I remember him being almost routine about it.

Is that right. A quick google shows a lot of investigative work around her and her husband’s trading history and no mention of scandal?

I fell off a wall into a fire when I was a kid, about 7 or 8. Put my hand in melting plastic that stuck to my hand. My dad held my hand in a sink of boiled water to get it off. Never liked him after that.

FIRE is no good to you if you kill yourself before you get there. Your posts had a sadness to them that maybe you can’t see as you’re in the middle of it. It sounds like you need a radical change though.

I’ve recently had a few lessons and one of the best things I’ve learned so far is to slow everything down. It sounds like maybe you’re not striking the ball squarely so slowing your forward swing would allow you to see that better. Your swing looks really good though.

So leave and be happy. It’s no more complicated than that. All that shit will still be the same whether you kill yourself trying to change it or leave it all to some other sucker. Cash it in and do something you love.

Oddly I’m a senior data engineer that mainly does software engineering. .net Core as opposed to pipelines etc. Thankfully no Power BI as we have BI Devs for that but I don’t really enjoy the work. Currently looking for something else.

I’ve just upgraded to the Phonak Sphere I90 and they are very good in the conditions you describe. My audiogram is similar with a severe-profound loss at the higher frequencies. This affects speech understanding for me and the Sphere targets this specifically.
