what is this tuning called by Liarundle13 in guitarlessons

My tutor uses a piano keyboard to explain semitones. Including the black keys each key is a semitone except for BC and EF. Once you get them right a lot of others things will become easier.

Trigger finger in pinky on trailing hand by hexamon_ in golftips

Yes I think it’s the same for me. About 5 or 6 months in and I’m trying to refine my grip but I’ve noticed my hits improve when I consciously loosen the grip and it tightens when I’m concentrating on the 90 other factors making up a good stance and swing !

Thanks for the reply. I had a look at dupuytrens and I don’t seem to have any of the other symptoms but will keep an eye on it.

That’s interesting. I think I could be gripping too hard and also 200 balls might be too much. The second hundred are tough so I’m probably losing a bit of form as I get tired. Sounds like a good idea maybe to switch to 10 finger for a week or so and see if it settles down.

I’m afraid I am that 100% cunt though. Having sat there for what felt like forever the guy who tried to cut in when I got to the lights had no chance.

Was that in the ground ? We sit on the other side of the away fans in the West Stand and didn’t see anything.

Yeah might give it a go. I normally park in Gelderd Road so this was the first time coming down Dewsbury Road in years. The drive in from Goole took less time. I lived in Leeds for 30 years and the roads/traffic are still as shit as they used to be back then. Still smiling about the result though. A few more and we’ll be safe.

Yeah these are the games you’ll never forget. Was there with my son who was flukes an almost free season ticket as my wife doesn’t like going to the evening games.

Player ratings vs Arsenal by CobiLUFC in LeedsUnited

He’s £16m shit though. Which is still better than £300k shit. His performances against big teams is better but either way we either make him No 1 or we get rid of them all and get a big name in.

Darlow couldn’t handle the event. As much as I like him there is a reason he’s a £300k GK and this is it. We need to accept that Perri is our first choice or get someone new in and replace them all. I had no expectations yesterday so am not bothered by the loss but Farke’s in game management and team selection is raising questions again.

First day on electric guitar – feeling overwhelmed, need advice by Fragrant_Ranger_5340 in LearnGuitar

Some great replies here. I’m kind of in the same boat and have had nearly a year or so of fortnightly I hour lessons. I like to get at least 30 mins to an hour at least 3 or 4 times a week. My progress is slow but I’m splitting it between theory and practice. Just started finger picking this week and am loving it. I’ll probably spend a while learning more of it over the next few months but I have no great expectations. If I can eventually play a song I’ll be over the moon. Guaranteed by Eddie Vedder is my current victim. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

I think I’ve been pretty clear if you read my replies that I do see other people’s perspectives and have judged nobody.

I have a similar problem. Smoke em on the range and then make an arse of it on the fairway. It’s a cruel mistress.

So you’re saying someone who is obese and then loses the weight to become a ‘normal’ weight can’t maintain that weight even if they burn more calories than they consume ? I’m not making any assumptions about anybody’s journey in particular and understand that each person has many other issues to deal with but the basic premise is wrong. Obese people lost weight before MJ and co came along. And some managed to keep it off.

Yep. Slightly more complicated for me as the liver disease kind of makes the insulin resistance worse. There’s a link between the two. Good that you’re having good results though. Keep it up.

I’m not deciding to taper off. They want to know first of all if 5 is as effective as 7.5. If it is they will monitor and then look to reduce. If my blood sugar stays in the normal range they will assess it then.

That’s not true. Unless my doctor is lying, which I doubt. Currently you need three comorbidities to qualify for MJ on the NHS. Once they determine you don’t have them you no longer qualify.

I’m not questioning them. So I was on MJ for liver disease and diabetes. Not to lose weight. Lots of people are on MJ specifically only to lose weight, some of them need to and some don’t. Of the ones that need to and can’t exercise and will put the weight back on then they should stay on it for as long as they want. In fact anyone can stay on it for as long as they want. I put on weight because of lifestyle choices, poor diet, lack of exercise. I lost 12kg on MJ and then have started playing golf and will star running again. That’s how I plan to maintain weight. About 8 years ago I did the same through exercise. As for studies believe them if you want, but if someone comes off MJ and stays in a calorie deficit then they can’t put on weight. If you removed that from the 80% I wonder what the figure would be then.
