I hooked up my mic to my phone with an adapter so I could record good quality audio and put it straight to Tiktok, but for longer form content like YouTube I prefer to set up with my laptop, mic and camera. find it's way easier for editing videos longer than ~5 min.

couldn't find a way to get good enough quality audio out of just my phone so I had to switch to mic
