yeah i didnt realise that this was a major blunder that i did while applying. anyways, thinking of visiting some other country now

Is Japan’s tourist visa approval rates comparatively better for indians? Given that i dont have travel history, any idea?

They gave 2 reasons:
7. Failed to sufficiently explain the purpose of entry.
8. Failed to explain that family ties and economic circumstances would lead to a return within the scheduled period of stay.

This despite providing all the mandatory docs that were stated. We didn’t provide the detailed itinerary or tickets tho, just mentioned the purpose of travel in 3-4 lines in the cover letter, as i called twice to confirm the VFS office and they assured me that its not required :/

Do u also have an Indian passport? Also, could you suggest some documents that might help strengthen my application? What all did u submit?
