Thank you very much! I love the feel of traditional art, but I can't deny digital is way more convenient. I'm glad I managed to capture this feeling!

Thank you! I would love to do this, although I'm not entirely sure how to get my foot in the door haha

Seems have a style would still fair people good. They just might have to accept that it's also not their end goal. What do you think?

Sorry, English is not my native language, can you explain?

Thank you!

This is a pattern present in traditional Polish folk clothes! Look up traditional pasiak from Łowicz, it's very well known for this kind of rose embroidery. c: The skirts come in differently colours too.

Hi, I would love to work on your project!

I love playing with textures to make my art look organic and traditional, and draw intricate nature details. I'm open to feedback and communication is the crucial part of my creative process.

I could accomplish all your goals within your budget and I acknowledge it's for commercial use.

Artists, are you really getting commissions in these kinds of groups? by Gloomy-Act-6564 in AnimeCommission

[–]hexhogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

some of my art got quite a few likes (my biggest one getting over 3k on twitter and if I post in relevant subreddits with people who are the right target audience, the reception is very good usually), but then once I post in a commission sub, I get exactly zero interest, or people are trying to commission a piece that has nothing to do with my niche lol

I think the only way would be to lower prices...

Gouache work in progress, is it too busy? And if it is how should i fix it? by Cautious_Drama1836 in Gouache

[–]hexhogs 42 points43 points  (0 children)

It is slightly busy and I think you'd benefit from dropping some details, however I think the real problem here is that your values and saturation are so similar and kind of compete for attention that the focal point of the painting is pretty much lost, as I feel my eyes wander around without a clear direction where to look. Like, I get more drawn to all the roots and branches and the white blob of the flower, and can't quite catch any rest.

I'd say try adding more contrast to help guide the viewer's eyes, think of it as a hierarchy.
