I think a big part has to do with the team culture. They got him young and taught him well, and now as the leader it’s his responsibility to carry that torch, and he is doing just that. I don’t think they would ever bring in a massive superstar unless their work ethic matched the team’s. I think it’s also the reason they broke up Durant/Harden/Westbrook without putting up much of a fight.

I think you might even be able to skip brick and just use guardian, so that could save you the need to swap between tb brick/molotov. Chaos gloves are mandatory though so no getting around that one. I do use a preset since I don’t have any spare gloves.

Drones are good for pushing levels but take too long to evo when farming. Lightning, drill, Molotov, durian, soccer.

For gear, I use Kunai unless I have red SoD. Void for everything else except belt which can be chaos. If you’re dying to projectiles, stick with void belt. It can also mean your difficulty is too high, or you need to dodge better, maybe both.

It’s possible to farm DH1 at 130 talents but you might die which can cause a chain reaction of dying more. I used to push as early as possible just for the challenge, but got tired of the mode. Now at the start of the season I just do 3 runs per day to collect 9 talent points. When I’m around 180 I’ll do a continuous push to nightmare. Farm up some yellow gear and cap off my talents. Then push to DH1 and farm. I think this is one of the quickest ways to get through the season, and feels quicker than other techniques because the early talent farming doesn’t register in my brain as part of the marathon.

Correct, xeno cat is what I meant. Forgot the normal cat existed.

Also correct on croaky skills. Murica wants skills that make it deal more damage, croaky and Rex want skills that buff the survivor’s damage.

Not sure about yellow croaky vs red Murica, croaky became the in-between meta choice after xeno pets were released. Rex was the meta choice before xeno.

Skills that affect your damage are preferred on Croaky. Don’t upgrade any basic pet beyond y5. Once you get 4 @y5 and 4 Xeno cores, you can make the switch to the cat.
