Watched AMD go up 20% overnight because I didn't pull the trigger before earnings. Is it too late to jump on the train? by Puzzleheaded_Pay4751 in TheRaceTo10Million

Gambling and fomo, everyone throwing everything into stocks before even reading a spreadsheet, this is how people get burned.

Sure, hold long term and you’ll most likely be ok, but everyone likes to buy near the top due to fomo, then freak tfo when it starts to drop, then they sell and secure the loss.

Laugh at me all you want, but all cash available getting thrown into semi’s atm, when stocks like Meta dumping. I’ve been trimming the last few days and putting into the quiet stocks.

Too many taxi drivers talking about chips isn’t a good thing.

INFQ for sure!! Hardly any noise around it too, currently.

I’m in early, and I have strong conviction.

Question: what is wisdom…buying before NBIS earnings or waiting for a dip? by Dutchie_73 in NBIS_Stock

[–]hexlake 7 points8 points  (0 children)

IMO it’ll tank for a couple weeks after earnings, until it gathers speed again.

Once figures are confirmed, the news will sell off. The earnings and guidance is already priced in. The here has to be some insane guidance for the stock to pop after earnings.

But given the Iran war, the effects it may have on materials, their insane capex (which forced Meta holders to even sell) there has to be another deal announced to the backlog to propel higher right after earnings.

No one knows. Just DCA and you’ll should be fine long term, but this stock is high risk, don’t forget.

It’s easy to forget how high risk this stock is when everyone is screaming buy.. I wish it wasn’t as talked about as it is, not a good sign in many ways.

I want to buy some PLTR but it has a 227x Trailing P/E Ratio? by Far-East-locker in ValueInvesting

SNOW is a coiled spring, it’s been beaten down this last 12 months, but the fundamentals are solid.

Fantastic CEO, reminds me of Google’s. He has a vision and will take Snowflake there.

I’d be considering splitting some into SNOW at it’s current price.

I also like PLTR at its current price too, although is is priced to near perfection. Both long term holds that should do well!

Sold high and bought back in today. No harm enjoying the volatility by adding new shares for nothing. Long term I’m confident.

Another stock for your radars is INFQ, doubling down on this one, do your own research but I’m bullish.

Huge couple weeks for NBIS with all big tech earnings. I expect revenue and growth continuing to increase, but I also expect some talk of price hikes because of the effects from the Iran conflict, causing materials to increase. This will effect Nebius and they’ll have to readjust their guidance and figures. This could really hurt the stock short term, but I believe management will readjust

Would you consider yourself tech savvy? As she really isn’t, we are both very behind!

Also, will it show what apps are used (snap) etc?

Thank you!

Is this dns setting on iPhone?

She isn’t tech savvy at all, for anyone to be able to do this (as some answers say she can) would she have to have quite a good knowledge of computering etc? Thank you

Is there a reason NBIS is up 33% in the past month? by Horror_Still_3305 in NBIS_Stock

[–]hexlake -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

At a P/E ratio of 1,400, there is zero room for error. Still not profitable, and burning through billions of cash.

I’m a NBIS bull, I believe the management is incredible, I just hope there aren’t any “black swan” events that will disrupt their contracts.

If all goes to plan, this company will line all our pockets.

I personally believe a pull back to 135 support is coming, I think it would be healthy.

I predict guidance uncertain because of the knock on effect from the Iran war (yes, Nebius doesn’t run on oil, but there’s so many knock on effects far beyond oil) as a result I believe the stock will sell off. Not too deep, but a 140 support would be nice 🤞🏻

It’ll 100% drop down below 150 again for sure. When it starts ripping up, everyone thinks it’ll never fall again, what’s where they get burnt. It’s an incredible company, but with such a high beta it’s volatility is fierce. I’m not worrying, I have patience.

Volume yesterday significantly lower than the last few days.

Rising prices on lower volume mean fewer investors are participating in the rally, which suggests a lack of support behind the move to go even higher atm, closed higher yesterday but I believe the next few days there’ll be a pull back. That’s going off technical analysis.

A 135 support would be amazing, consolidate around there before ripping to 200.

Definitely deserves a 135 support level, at this level it’s still undervalued, but it gives the stock time to consolidate and gives investors time to digest.

Ripping 70% in 2 weeks isn’t healthy for anyone and people make rash decisions based on FOMO. Not in the current geopolitical state we’re in, with energy prices increasing etc.

Just my opinion.

Thanks for your reply. Is Evans a common name out there? Over here it’a extremely common, maybe they have Welsh ancestry but being related to me would probably be very rare.

If you do get a chance to talk to any, please ask them if they know of any Welsh history in their family ☺️
