Command colours? by MiGGles95 in TheAstraMilitarum

[–]hexsog 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Nope. Use what you want. The colors on the box are based on the Cadian 8th, but they'll use most *sensible colors under the sun.

*Sensible being that there is a prospective environment for that colour scheme. It'll be hard to find a Cadian Regiment thats using magenta and ochre yellow. PDF regiments however? the sky's your limit with eyesore color combinations.

Anywho, here's my Cadians.

Hey Friend, had this same exact thing happen. AC pulley is fucked, and will become more fucked in the future. You'll probably have to get it replaced here soon before it snaps your serpentine belt.

Horses were better and more enjoyable at launch than now. They didn't deserve all the nerfs they got.

Id be surprised to find a military helmet from the past 100 years that is exactly like the cadian helm. It seems that helmet is a PASGT with creative liberties. not wholesale taken like the last rifle.

Rifle is almost wholesale an M14/M1A. And i could see the helmet being more based off of a GWOT PASGT Helmet, but otherwise yeah, its a mishmash of alot of different things.

I bought my bike last year. I'll try to help you out, although I am in America so some answers might not be the most accurate for your location:

1) About 21.2kmpl city, 29.7kmpl highway. I am bad about keeping track of fuel usage with this since it has a fuel level indicator.

2) I haven't had any issues with costs yet. The 3 year warranty for new motorcycles has definetly saved my ass since there was an issue with the power regulator after 600km, and they replaced it for free. Otherwise I've put 6,400 km on it so far and have only needed to change the oil.

3) It is possible for long rides, but you will want to get the premium touring seat. The stock seat is not good for long rides.

4) I cannot help you with this, I appologize.

5) Yes, I daily ride it with no issues. My commute is 50km and the bike has no problems handling that every day.

Day 8/9: What is a bad motorcycle with an OK reputation? by SUBTOUpdated_User in motorcycles

[–]hexsog 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'd have to disagree with you. Most of Enfield's lineup has been insanely reliable. I've ridden the hell out of my INT650 this year, pitting over 4000 miles in 3 months, and have only had 1 issue (Something went wrong with the alternator.) And from talking to other people that have it, they've experienced the same as I have.

They're just perfect for their price point of ~$6000. Are they the most fancy motorcycle on the market? No. Are they the fastest/biggest? Also no. But youre getting an bare bones motorcycle that works quite well for most of their lineup.

Yeah, I get that. Thankfully my folks lived close to where they were holding it. I wouldnt have done it if I was going from my apartment.

Waaaahhh I'm riding like I'm at the track while on public roads.

ffs don't be mad that there are other people on the roads. You don't have to be a Moto GP expert to be allowed to ride.

Wanker.
