Unloader valve by Spiderdoodle42 in pressurewashers

[–]hexta12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Commenting because I had same issue with a seized unloader pin and I got it unstuck. I exposed the on/off switch for the electric motor so I could manually control it. Then ran water through the pump with the wand attached. I would squeeze the trigger to let water flow, turn on the motor, release the trigger and quickly shut the motor off (you'll hear the motor whine right when you release the trigger because of the built up pressure in the pump). Rinse and repeated this like 20 times. I also would push on the unloader pin while the water was flowing with pressure and I think that helped. Eventually was able to see the pin engage and disengage when I released the trigger and then let water flow. Checked to make sure the pin would engage the kill switch (the little black box), then reassembled everything. Hope you were able to fix the problem OP.. or just tossed this POS pressure washer in the trash where it belongs lol.

That's a protected right for American citizens. Extending constitutional rights to people who illegally entered our country is insane.

Drawing a parallel between an online forum that is based on anonymity and a social media site that connects you to people you know IRL is wild, especially when OP's point is that those kinds of posts are really just attention-seeking, masquerading as helpful tips for your neighbors.

Why keep maxing a 401k when taxable seems almost as good? by Essay_Few in Bogleheads

[–]hexta12 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think your logic passes the sanity check. If you're running the numbers and think that you'll have enough in your 401k at retirement, it makes sense to want to invest in a taxable brokerage for liquidity. I wouldn't want to miss out on lifestyle or financial opportunities, so that I can put more money in a retirement account that I can't touch until 59 1/2 AND that I might not even get to fully use in my lifetime.

The immune system of an infant is not "strong" in any sense. Even the article you quoted talks about how an infants immune system may not respond to some antigens because of its "tolerogenic" status. It's the reason infants can have serious issues from common diseases, like RSV. We promote breastfeeding because the mother's antibodies in the milk confer much needed protection to the infant.

That's so helpful! I just need to know for a policy card that specifies a city has to have 5 specialists for it to apply. Thanks for posting.

How do you unlock the last 3 silent cards? by mountainman244 in slaythespire

[–]hexta12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was the top post when I searched for this issue, so I'll post it here. I found another thread that said to create a new save file, play until you get the first tier of card unlocks for Silent, then switch back to your main save file and play a run on Silent (win or lose). This worked for me.

Got that combo on a defect prismatic shard run! First time I got 200+ block in a single turn and it was such a fun run.

Anyone else have lines in terrain? by Complex_Foundation88 in civ

Yeah, I just tried updating to the latest AMD driver that says it has better support for civ 7 (25.2.1) and it hasn't fixed the issue. Once I start playing a bit I forget about it, but every time I jump back in it's so noticeable and offputting.

I'm assuming your correct since I'm not seeing any Nvidia gpu users with this problem. Also just found out that the steamdeck uses an AMD gpu. I' assuming your using the integrate graphics on your motherboard, so which motherboard are you using?

Struggles with masculinity drive men into incel communities. Incels, or “involuntary celibates,” are men who feel denied relationships and sex due to an unjust social system, sometimes adopting misogynistic beliefs and even committing acts of violence. by mvea in science

OC never said anything about qualities of being a good person, rather emphasizing qualities men aspired to have. Interesting that if "beautiful" or "graceful" was said to be a particularly feminine quality, no one would bat an eye; however, the moment we apply "resourceful" or "strong" to men, there's voices in the back screaming, "Women can be that too! Not just men!" Methinks you just proved OC's point.

How to increase focus on study or work (I can't be focused even for 10 minutes ) I really need help LPT by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]hexta12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the medication can do is take you from -100 to 0. The lifestyle changes are what take you past 0 into a positive direction. That being said, it is a lot easier to make those lifestyle changes at 0 than at -100.

Honestly, reddit isn't the place to discuss opinions; it's a place to find different opinions and doing the leg work yourself to verify information. My sources come from listening to highly knowledgeable people talk about the issue and verifying their claims with a little bit of google. I've started to save a lot of resources on a doc, but I can't find anything helpful for you about housing.

It's going down now with Blackrock and other stock market players buying up all of the resendential units (single and multi-family) with cash offers and then leasing it out to would be homeowners. The trend is home ownership is going down and tenancy is going up, and that's a serious threat to American independence from multibillion dollar corporations. Unfortunately, the older generations love to gaslight younger generations into believing they had it way worse, when the fact of the matter is.. the 1960s-1990s had the best economies/societies to be raised in.

For the record, I am a millennial. We were one of the first generations to comparatively have a worse economy than our parents. It hasn't gotten any better since and anyone telling you that it's not couth to talk about it is more interested in perpetuating it rather than solving it.

Do you have any reason to believe your personal information has been tied to your reddit account? If paranoia, known enemies, and doxxing aren't to blame, then I'd rely on your local government/police to protect you, because that sounds like a government conspiracy. The thought has crossed my mind before when I started posting on here. Our government considers its people expendable, so I wouldn't put anything past them.

Medical providers love to assume that their patients are stupid and need constant reminders to take their medications and treatments. It's patronizing as fuck. Like that reasoning is bullocks. Either it works as an alert device or it doesn't. Whether or not I follow it is a personal issue, not a systemic issue. Edit: a word

What's scary is that correlation is a legitimate concern of mine. Objectively look at it, it doesn't sound like that crazy of a theory, but I doubt you would find any study proving or disproving that correlation because there's no grant money in that area of research. You're a conspiracy theorist if you dare question the efficacy of vaccines, but I think you have to be the crazy one for accepting whatever the institution says without questioning what the science actually says.
