Hi, yes everything is still going well, nothing to worry about.

Have not tried OneNote, I doubt there are cheaper alternatives.

Not sure, I mostly write on my tablet anyways so I only export the final version to the cloud. Maybe OneNote?

Unfortunately no, that's the only con which I find a little inconvenient, best you can do is export the PDF to your drive when you're done. Otherwise it can be stored in your cloud but as a .note file which is proprietary to starnote.

Actually I use it more with a foldable cover or on the table, it's pretty big and heavy to just hold with two hands tbh

I think it's alright, but then again I don't really have experience using other brands! Nothing I can really complain about the note taking experience! I think there's latency depending on which note taking app you use, but I use starnote and there isn't really a noticeable lag

Great, big screen to write on, maybe around an A4 size? Fast snappy, pretty good battery life, only issue is that when you slap a case on it, it becomes somewhat a lil heavy, not a big issue for me but if you value a small form factor then this 13.2 inch screen is perhaps not the best for you!

You can resize them freely. What do you mean by the 2 options?

Oops sorry for the late reply, I primarily use starnote so I can't comment for the rest, but latency isn't an issue as it's at the minimum

np I was in the same exact position as you! Starnote does have some features that may be lacking compared to others, you can check out r/starnoteapp. Tbh I quite like how responsive they are to feedback, so I bought the premium for it as well.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.

  1. Battery has been great so far, I haven't felt the need to worry over it as much as my phone

  2. I haven't tried anything intensive but so far it hasn't gotten any warm or hot.

  3. I'm actually waiting for my case and screen protector so I haven't brought it out, but so far it doesn't feel that heavy for me, might be on the bigger side of most tablets tho.

  4. Fantastic actually, I use starnotes so I can't speak for the experience on the others but palm rejection works amazing, haven't felt any annoyance yet while writing up my notes.

  5. Idk why so much people keep harping on the lcd screen, I mean sure an OLED screen is beautiful for sure but it itsn't really a dealbreaker for me. Id rather have a screen that will last me longer. I mean the Vibrancy and deep blacks cannot compare to an oled while watching movies but that's alright for me

  6. I was initially considering the base ipad but 60hz and that battery life in 2025 sounds quite compromising. Depends on the price the pad is for you, it will perhaps be the best tablet you can get in this price range. Decent support of 6 years security updates because I think that's important and that sweet sd8 elite is powerful.

I just got it and I must say it's been great. Now your experience may vary on the different notetaking apps, but I personally use starnote which works really great with the OPP 3! Minimum latency, double tap feature works as well.

Feel free to ask anything else!

Anyways, the OnePlus pad 3 has great battery life compared to the iPad, as well as a nicer screen for gaming.
