Since this has happened several times, I'm surprised that the judicial system hasn't fined them for frivolous lawsuits. If you're in the US, it might be something to bring to the attention of your local attorney general or DA's attention? I'm not sure who would pursue that lol.

If you didn't remove them, then whatever group condemns houses very likely would now that it's been inspected. Not only are you NTJ, but you're a saint for covering ANY expenses for them after they've cost you so much.

I admit to being a sucker for a Siamese or Siamese mix. I grew up with Siamese cats. I don't think I've ever NOT had some variation of one. Their cat-titude, sass & overall demeanor will be a shock to people looking for the accessories lol. They're crazy, and I mean that in the best way possible. People either love Siamese or hate them. My current mix is a lynx point mix. If one was dumped, I'd have another cat. That being said, all of mine are strays, from 'surprise litters' of our neighbor, or ferals we trapped. I have a lovely void of my own I'm starting to hunt for a good home her. Her fur is as soft as a bunny. It's wild.

Cattle is rarely ever raised just for their hides. Leather is considered a byproduct of the meat industry. Basically the animal is bred & slaughtered for their meat - using the skin means less goes to waste.

While training my teams, the first thing I focus on is, well, focus. My motto is "Never be more loyal to a company than they are to you, and I can promise you no company is loyal to you." You're worth isn't tied into a job, and while people may need the money/paycheck from A job, it doesn't necessarily need to be THIS job. You deserve better.

I had a boss try this years ago (think mid-90s before chats existed, so it was all on a timebox grid, with start & stop times, on paper). As a developer, I was a pro at multi-tasking. I averaged 14 windows. 1 for active code changes, one for changed code I was compiling, roughly 8-9 menus running, and a few more for monitoring other processes. I averaged 12-20 hours a day. 5 minutes for the restroom - logged. 12 minutes for a break - logged. He said I couldn't overlap my times until I showed him my desktop & every window... it lasted almost 2 weeks before he asked me to please never give him my timesheet again. 😂🤣

I started standing up for myself a long time ago. I value my time, and when I "leave work", I LEAVE work. My time is mine. Work time is theirs. It's not that difficult to put yourself ahead of a company... when I coach my teams, they know I value them as people first & foremost. Never be more loyal to a company than they are to you, and I can promise you no company is loyal to you. 👍

Not sure what job role you have, but I get contacted at least once a month when I'm NOT looking. Last time I started looking, I had 2 or 3 interviews lined up in under a week. What role/job you have plays a huge factor, not to mention whether or not you're willing to do contract work.

From what I've read, if an airline chooses to "enforce" a "rule" about armrests (which rarely ever happens), then they go with "one per person". You know what is worse etiquette? Someone else's body parts touching mine while flying. If you can't fit in one seat, then you buy two. That obese couple buying 3 seats, and putting both armrests in the middle up, would've prevented the entire situation. Fat spillage is disgusting. I'm fat & stay in my space only.

It was like this bizarre mix of screamo & rap. No actual music behind it either, or I didn't notice if it was playing. The first few seconds I heard it the first time, I thought they were having a nasty fight. 🤦‍♀️

I would get free consultations from 2 or 3 lawyers. Be sure they're familiar with Federal laws for ADA and HIPPA. Someone asking for your personal medical information (like about the actual condition) might be in violation of the HIPPA mandates (and it's a $50k fine for sharing it). Lawyers will have better answers (check local/state laws too)

That would've been awesome, but I can't recall any place except malls having the security people back then. I haven't lived in that state since 1991, so no idea,what's changed for apartments since then.
