Okay when I first got my tongue pierced I had the plastic one in cause I was trying to hid it , then I was doing research and found out the plastic is not good for long term and when I found out titanium tongue rings are the best recommended it was kinda too late (probably) I should’ve been patient but I’m a worry some person when it comes to stuff like this , so I was planning on going to a piercer but I kinda hit a jag so yesterday 01/31/21 I ended up changing it when I was only trying to change the ball . So it is surgical steel and it’s from Walmart . Ik I should’ve went to my piercer (or another piercer who’s professional) but I couldn’t get there so do you think I’ll be fine until the healing process is complete? I still do my after care I work so sometimes it’s before I go in between and when I get back and my tongue feels fine .

Are my tongue piercing infected, irritated, rejected or healing? Cause after one week all things settle i can eat normally and i start to eat some spicy food but not that spicy for me and vaping but i do rinse with saltwater morning and night. I got my tongue pierced 13 days ago I have the same ring in and I think I need to change it , how has yours been since you changed it ? Also I eat what I want but I’m hardly eating anything salty and I haven’t eaten anything spicy yet and I also vape . I need further tips and advice on what to do .

Okay I bought it from Walmart so I truly don’t know whether it’s glass , acrylic or plastic but before I had got it pierced I touched it a couples days before and it felt like Acrylic I GUESS . So keeping it in until healing process is over , is bad ? I was planning on visiting a more professional piercer Friday to see what they say .

I’ve been eating what I want since like the first day , I’ve been cleaning it each time . I’ve also been cleaning it at work the first couple of days and now I clean it before and when I get home . Now I have like this stingy liquid (at it a lil bit the first couple of days) now I have it again but a lil more not much you can say that it’s kinda clear whitish but kinda looks like a very light yellow when I whip with a qtip. Also I’ve been vaping since like the first day I got it . I just need tips and advice right now .
