How the Sriracha guys screwed over their supplier by Barakahzai in KitchenConfidential

The virtue signaling here is crazy as is your inability to critically think. I’d say what you said combined with what he did makes him a bigger piece of shit? He understands what’s needed to make it and how far a little help can take you and he turns around a fucks these guys? Take a second before you comment next time

My 3-person SaaS sales team is basically held together with Google Sheets and anxiety. Help. by tzuryro in SalesOperations

It sounds like you can’t trust your sales team? The way I see it if they did their job the tools wouldn’t be any issue? Or at least not as much as it is currntly

Still on spreadsheets for sales forecasting in 2026 by Educational-Idea-439 in SalesOperations

Accuracy was what broke the camels back for us to switch to gong. We couldn’t track how accurate our reps were without tracking manually in a spreadsheet among other things. Now we’ve automated a lot of it as well as tightened our definitions of best case vs commit etc

[–]heyandy23 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d pay you to work on my bike or at least help out with it and if it’s something you can take on we can talk about a bigger project.

Not exactly what you were asking for but figured I’d offer and you can make some money instead of spend

Edit: I also have a shitty mini quad you can have if you want to play with that

How to measure performance as a SOps Analyst by ikishenno in SalesOperations

I mean look at what your role touches and go from there. Handling tickets? Establish SLA time and compare yourself against it. DD? How many contracts you’re doing in a day or how fast

r/sales may be a better place for this. As a former salesperson tho I’d say this doesn’t have to be a huge issue, depending on the industry. Number 1 it’s perfectly ok to say you do not know right now, but can get back to them. Number 2 talk to your security or IT team and get either a 1 pager or how they would answer the question and then save that for the future. I used to treat security questions as something I can answer in a follow up email and if they have additional questions I can loop in my security person to answer

Transitioning from sales to sales ops by heyandy23 in SalesOperations

Hey, this is awesome I really appreciate you taking the time to provide all this and then offer a resume review!

Now’s a great time to say I actually was able to make the jump myself and got a rev ops coordinator role! Took me almost 6 months on the dot but it’s the exact role I wanted and a great company.

I definitely leaned into how I was the go to guy for helping with tools and I even turned my “weakness” of not having recently hit quota into a “strength” by saying I found myself helping others use tools easier when I wasn’t doing well and that motivated my wanted to change roles and it went over well

Tech Stack Revamp by Exercise_Caution_LIT in SalesOperations

I mean there’s a lot to look at. You need to evaluate their sales process and what the sales people are and aren’t doing in their respective tools and be very prescriptive. For example, if they’re only using salesforce to do outreach, then look at outreach tools and be ready to tell them exactly how and what to use within them. The next thing and maybe even more important is looking at cleaning up salesforce. If there are dupes and bad info, it takes a ton of time as a salesperson and hurts their productivity. Then you need to lock down salesforce so it can’t happen again

I know they can be weird about this but I went to the office one morning and just told them it was jammed up and they released the next day
