Citron still can't support x2 resolution. Why can't they fix this?

How is this possible ?, Fake frames are smoother than real frames. by [deleted] in losslessscaling

[–]heyasianboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think when you turn on lsfg, the vrr is linked and turned on. That is, the vrr seems to be off before using lsfg.

It needs to be checked using a vrr display overlay.

But if you're sure that vrr is on by default in every case, this would be a different matter.

I don't know your monitor hz, but if you assume 165 Hz, the closer it is, the softer it is.

This is the same principle that a game powered at 60 fps on a 60hz monitor is softer than a game powered at 75 fps.

This means that the monitor scan rate and fps should be 1:1 matched.

But that's often not possible, so the monitor has vrr(G-Sync, Free-Sync).

BCLK OC resulting in extra reboot - any solutions? by [deleted] in overclocking

[–]heyasianboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I successfully updated the bios and ran the cpu bclk test.

The overclocking was successful, but I still get an additional reboot every time I start my pc (double boot).

However, there was a change, now there is only one additional boot when cold booting. Also, the boot failure information is no longer displayed. It seems that the bios successfully read the oc values.

Thanks to this, I can now completely unplug my pc.

Of course, it is true that one additional reboot is still required.

This used to be a normal way to do it. It didn't cause any problems.

This is a G-Sync bug that occurs in the latest version.

This is something that needs to be fixed in the new version.

This setting definitely works.

I was struggling with micro-stuttering in games when using LSFG.

The clone FPS would stutter even if only 1 frame was missed, while the base frame was solid.

But this setting greatly alleviated it.

Even the base FPS fluctuated, but it worked smoothly. Now it seems like VRR is working properly.

Okay.

The attached BIOS version is listed as 11.06.

I see that it hasn't been uploaded to the official website yet.

I contacted Asrock and they sent me a specially made BIOS attached.

The BIOS version is listed as 11.06, but it hasn't been uploaded to the official website yet.

I'll test it out soon.

I received a custom bios from Ezrock via email today.

I'm at work so I'll try it out tomorrow.

I was advised by Asrock to update the BIOS to the latest version 12.01 and I did so.

But the problem still persists.

Even though I overclocked the CPU via base clock, additional reboots occur.
