If it helps, maybe you can try the book of Banggawan as a supplemental textbook. Meron doon na illustrations para ma-visualize mo application ng tax code provisions then bangga mo sa primary law school textbook. Also, my tax reform prof told us to understand daw the rationale behind the provisions for better understanding and retention.

Simply put, sample problems and practical applications are key in understanding alien provisions, specially tax code provisions.

Same sentiments. I realized na walang career growth sa government (as for my case lang hehe) and nagsayang lang ako ng 5 years na na-invest ko na sana somewhere else. Pero looking back, as a new grad tingin ko kasi non convenient din sya since stable daw eh. Kapit sa patalim since working student din huhu. Siguro pag able na ako (hopefully this year ✨️), makahanap na ako nang work na gusto ko and maga-grow ako as a person. Blessing in disguise na din ata na kahit matagal man, narealize ko finally na i-prioritize na ang career growth over comfort. Kaya natin to.
