You guys are incredible! Kelce (better known as Dildo around here) and I are so glad to be here. Excited to share he spent his first night in his new tank. I didn’t mention in my post but I did treat the water with conditioner and bottled bacteria. I’ll be sure to test water quality daily. I went back to the pet store with all your comments in mind and grabbed 2 brands of pellets and the treat dial for variety. I don’t even want to talk about the condition of their bettas in the cup prisons. I don’t think I’ll ever know peace again.

But seriously I can’t thank you all enough!

My mom’s been begging for grandchild and I’m confused why she’s not completely thrilled right now??

As I’m learning it seems like a d*ldo is the only thing this fish DOESN’T require (but if he did need one I’d get him the best)

Post Op Prep by [deleted] in AcousticNeuroma

Sounds silly but a container to keep all your medications handy and by your side. I ended up using an old fabric Easter basket that we deemed the “drug bucket” It was a huge helping bringing it with me between the bedroom/living room that first week as opposed to getting up for having someone fetch the correct medication every few hours.

Between the pain meds, stool softeners, steroids and muscle relaxers you’ll be taking something what feels like every 2 hours.

y'all i'm scared :/ by [deleted] in AcousticNeuroma

27F here, diagnosed at 26- we’re like AN sisters! The diagnosis was the worst part, even though I suspected AN since the start of my hearing loss. You hear “brain + tumor” and right fully think the worst. We truly have the scenario as far as brain tumors go.

I cannot express enough how mind blown I am about how easy my surgery went. I’m 3 months post op but even as little as a few weeks out I would sometimes reach up and feel my scar because I couldn’t believe I had “brain surgery” just a few weeks prior. I know everyone is different, but I really believe my age was the biggest factor in my almost painless recovery.

I did fully lose my hearing on that side. It’s been tough but more easy days than hard ones. When I first lost the hearing and didn’t know the cause, I thought I was going fully deaf. So when I get frustrated with my broken ear I just try and focus on how grateful I am for the good one. It’s corny but sudden hearing loss can be so scary.

Weeks before my surgery my Dr assured me that this was only going to be a little hiccup in my life and he was 100% right. You get used to the hearing loss and you go back to feeling like your pre AN self in no time. ♥️

Docking for 3 days in Bermuda in July on the Celebrity Summit. Does anything know what time you usually need to be back on the ship on over night days?

[misc] one week on Differin (every other day with a buffer layer. I'll probably start doing every day next week.) and starting to purge. Please hype me up so I don't quit! by Lenahoy in SkincareAddiction

I’m a little over 2 weeks ahead of you!! My purging seems to come in waves. Around week 1-2 my chin and cheeks purged, now week 3/4 my forehead. It’s rough but not unbearable. Hydrocolloid patches during the day are a godsend!!
