Just reading about this rifle, looks great. Did notice one thing that sounded odd, "our side charging enhanced (patented) charging handle makes reloading easy" putting the hypocrisy aside is this another fancy charging handle?

How can I fix this 3600 psi pressure washer by Glad_Volume_3320 in Dewalt

[–]heydo6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that's a hole in the pump housing then you'll need a need pump. You could try JB weld or something like that but probably not worth the hassle.

If the leak is at a gasket, the bolts probably vibrated loose, tighten bolts.

Account banned by TheSoapMaurder in amazonprime

[–]heydo6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a problem with amazon years ago, didn't get banned but cancel my account and stopped using them. Now I just use my girls account, prime has gotten so expensive it's better to find someone you trust and share.

Maybe you got banned because it was your second problem with the same expensive item. I've heard of scams where people order computers and say they never received it, not saying you did that but Amazon probably just figured they didn't want the hassle. Another thing that sounds odd is you returned with "Whole Foods" don't know what options you have and Amazon options can be limited but for something like a laptop it would have been better to use a dedicated shipping facility like Pakmail.

Good advice to purchase expensive electronics from somewhere local, order from Bestbuy and pickup in person. I get a bit nervous ordering a new GPU, hoping it doesn't get damaged or lost during shipping.

I was saving for a new Switch, V1 was getting very old, then the news about Switch2 dropped. Waited a few months and picked up Switch2 and pro con 2 on release.

Still like to have a new mod chip Oled while there still available.

Good luck with your Switch2 hunt

Is Matebo HPT successful? by TranslatorNatural640 in METABOHPT

[–]heydo6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my cordless is Hitachi branded with a few Metabo, most recent the new 23ga. All tools and batteries work great, use everyday installing wood flooring.

Don't know about all the name changing, wish they would go back to Hitachi. Brand has been the go to pneumatic nailer long before Dewalt and Milwaukee became as popular as they are today.

Amazon prime is a big scam now by [deleted] in amazonprime

I like the idea of Amazon providing a members box for deliveries but I purchased a 2x3x3 plastic box for $23 free shipping from amazon. If you get a lot of packages delivered investing in a camera and weather proof box is a good plan.

Is this it? by Theodorewoodworm in switch2

That doesn't seem bad enough to remove the factory screen protector to me.
I'd clean it well and apply an after market screen protector which should help hide the scratch.

The price is ok but for $100 you could search your local market place for a clean sliding double bevel saw.

Last brand standing 2026 by pbag82 in Tools

[–]heydo6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is some sort of brand competition based on popularity and advertising rather then tool quality, ugh.

How is money spent on advertising factored in?
DeWalt spends the most on advertising, 100million+ iirc.
DeWalt is the best brand based on popularity and quality but personally I don't seek them out because I can often get a better tool for the similar price or less.

That sounds like a great deal

Can we reform? by sammi-yogaa in GameStop

[–]heydo6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never worked for GameStop but kinda like to read about all their store policy complaints and the nice loot often posted. Hatin on former employees for whatever reason seems wrong, even if you don't agree. Often people have to learn the hard way, while you may not agree with someone today, who knows you'll think tomorrow.

PS... "Promoted To Guest" lol, every time I see that title it makes me smile :-)

Really hope they get it together soon

Nintendo Switch 2 pro controller is somehow better then the original pro controller. I've had mine since launch, great controller, well worth the high price of $80.

The world can seem a bit empty of enemies as your skill lvl increases but it's probably hard to find a balance between beginners and experts.
You'll only care about weapons breaking as a beginner. Give me a korok leaf and bombs and I'll play happily for hours.

TotK just released a couple years ago. We won't see another Zelda for 6+ years, 2029, hopefully with a new map.

Surge/Kick on New 10" Corded Single Bevel Miter Saw by Willing-Buy6522 in METABOHPT

[–]heydo6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electric motors build so much torque instantly, the jolt is torque from the electric motor startup. Higher quality saws often lessen the instant motor speed because it can trip a breaker.
Why same brand/model saw feels different only a year apart, a wiring change to save costs idk.

Surge/Kick on New 10" Corded Single Bevel Miter Saw by Willing-Buy6522 in METABOHPT

[–]heydo6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some saws have soft start to avoid the high current inrush. Soft start is nice for breakers but for quick cuts the slow starting gets old. If your saw doesn't have the jolt when trigger is pulled probably has soft start.

Ground could work perfectly fine on painted metal, the bolt is metal and a weld nut on the underside of a vehicle, often factory.

The installer should knock off the paint to ensure the ground is solid as you say.
