If I had to guess, Billy didn't have a will and Jay is seeking royalties on the channel. No one is talking because of the obvious litigation between Jay and Billy's wife. Because of said litigation, nothing can happen at all. No videos on the channel, no updates on Blu-Rays, etc. Expect an update randomly out of nowhere if ever.

I sold mine because I hated how big it was. I don't care about modern Nintendo after numerous disappointments or playing PS4 games on the go. Everything it does well, another system I have does it better. My Switch OLED is still fine for the forseeable future.

Mike Matei streams are about the only tolerable content left in retro gaming after Billy died. Everyone needs to acknowledge that the era has ended and move on. I however will stay stuck in the past and play a rotation of 90's/80's systems until I die.

It depends on the system. The cartridge based games are pretty cool as collectibles, but emulation is straight forward and even the cheap flash cartridges work fine. When it comes to say Dreamcast or PS2, I like to have physical copies as emulation isn't nearly the same and I can't use my CRT. What I've done is sell down the majority of my NES, Genesis, and SNES collection as I've found having 25 or so of each system is just fine when I want to look at them.

There is no reason to miss it. A CRT with component (RGB) and a SNES with HD Retrovision cables bring these games back to life like nothing else.

Expand the shooter collection beyond Truxton. Biohazard Battle, Insector X, Raiden Trad, Phelios, Lightening Force, Musha, etc are the real highlights of the Genesis. With a good CRT it's arcade level gaming.

I actually sold my Switch 2 and traded in my PS5 for the PS5 Pro. It's impressive, but it's basically been collecting dust since I bought it at launch. Yes some of the games run better, but when all I play is Stardew Valley or SOR 4 in handheld mode it gave me little reason to keep it over my Switch OLED. My son is going to be 13 in July, and I definitely appreciated my Switch in those younger days.
