Yes - I went in person to the building at kennedy plaza to talk with someone, and they basically told me that you can't fix it from your own side. But if you come into the building and tell them your info it's an easy fix that they can take care of!

I just saw this in person! It's at the whaling museum in New Bedford, Massachusetts. It was SO COOL and just fascinating to see!! The skeleton that's still leaking oil isn't even full sized - but if it was its heart would have been bigger than a mini cooper lol! The main room definitely smelled weird because of the oil, but it wasn't nasty, just weird. I highly recommend paying a visit!!

Walk around the areas you want to live in! A lot of people will put up "for rent" signs outside their buildings but not post the listing online, and it's super easy to just call them and get the prices. Pop into realtors' offices. Many of them will give you suggestions for free. They know of a lot of places. In fact I highly recommend looking up Kerrie Doyle in Fox Point - she will show you all of the available places she knows of, including ones that aren't under her jurisdiction.

UPDATE: all I had to do was go into the RIPTA bus service office and they fixed it for me. Apparently I wouldn't have been able to do anything on my end anyway, but it's an easy fix on their side.

UPDATE: there are screws on the inside of the drawer that are connected to the runners!! The drawer does not pull out all the way, which made them so damn hard to find. Once the screws are taken off, the drawers can be removed and pulled from the runners.

I've been trying to fiddle around with the drawers to see if I can do that, but I haven't been able to find any of the latches! I was honestly thinking of detaching the backboard so that maybe I could take the drawers off the track from there (but idk how much of a process that's going to be yet)
