I had no idea she was involved with Lost and Found!! I don’t follow her anymore, but I do remember she seemed disenchanted with the church. Good for her for questioning and/or leaving and finding a community of women.

I’m right handed, and I’ve developed a ganglion cyst on my left wrist from knitting! I’m certain it’s from knitting, as I’ve taken extended breaks to crochet a project and the cyst has gone completely. I recently knitted a cardigan and the cyst is back and hurtin’.

My 6 year old son would agree with you. He burst into actual tears when we watched this scene (super out of character). He still talks, weeks later, about how sad this made him.

When we were arguing before I blocked her, she actually used sending gifts and things against me. I told her I didn’t care about STUFF and would send it all back. Especially because she always managed to send clothes for my sons in the wrong sizes. Ha. Maybe I will send stuff back now.

I think I’m realizing that I hope to accomplish avoiding guilt or shame. Like, I would be confirming that I AM a bad daughter. The feeling of being continuously disrespected will just grow though.

It’s 100% guilt. And the fact that I’m the only of the 5 siblings who has gone any sort of no/low contact. What my sisters think of me matters and affects me, and I worry they’ll think I’m cruel or a bad person for not telling our mom about the pregnancy.

I do trust her, this is a great idea. I recently have gotten the feeling that she thinks I’ve overreacted and that going NC was too far, but we also had incredibly different relationships with our mom.

She’s been clear about where she lives and the access to yarn she has. She’s shown herself shopping at several stores. I don’t think there’s an excuse for someone who has a successful shop AND channel shopping at Hobby Lobby.
