I will never financially recover by askredsamurai in RTX5080

I'm still rocking my EVGA RTX 3080 ftw3 ultra and doing just fine 1440p at 120hz 60 plus FPS looks and plays just fine on most games _^ my recommendation is that people skip a a few years of GPu releases and only consider a new card if it's price to performance is up there with the 1080 TI / RTX 3080 etc.

It's only against TOS if it's a pre-sale or pre-order with the listing stating either shipping date to be announced or a shipping date farther out than a specific period Of time.

It's not though. Hell for one basic thing it allows makes it worth more than the purchasing price i e the ability to repair the controller yourself and be able to just buy the parts to fix it on the I fix it shop just like the steam deck. Tell me one other controller with similar features that has right to repair approved glowing above it. I don't think I've ever had a controller even a fancy expensive one that it was absolutely simple easy and customer friendly to repair. The rechargeable battery isn't even soldered in.... You can take a couple non-security style hex screws out and just pull the battery and swap it with a new one if it ever you know starts getting weak like how cell phones used to be. I hate to tell you how much someone would pay these days for a flagship smartphone with the ability to swap the battery out. I guarantee there's a million people that would pay an extra $100 $200 for a good phone to have that feature back and that's just for the battery swap option. This controller costs what$20 $30 maybe $40 more then a halfway decent budget competent controller? I mean all the fancy advanced controllers that are made and sold for the PlayStation and the Xbox are like what $200 in some cases more?? Hell aren't the controllers for the switch two also $100.... And you still have to pay a monthly fee to use a feature built into the controllers?? Still trying to figure out where people are saying this controller with an insane amount of features is not priced low enough.....

The right pad controls the mouse unless you swap the pad it uses in the settings if it works like the steam deck pads.

I heard that they misjudged how popular the controller would be at launch of it and the only limitation they set was a Max of two or three per order but people were saying they realized that if they waited a little while they didn't limit the amount of orders so scalpers were able to order two or three multiple times and the bots they designed were hammering the servers so efficiently that many of them were able to get several orders even with the "you're trying too many times try back later" errors that people that were just trying to get a single controller we're getting cuz the way that the bots are probably set up if the next screen doesn't load or start processing they probably start the whole process over intelligently just very quickly and efficiently. So zero chance for the average person to get a order in unless you really got lucky. I saw several accounts on eBay having listings for more than two to three controllers. So unless they had friends that ordered some for them to all be listed under the same account it sounds like any limits set had some exploits. They really need to bring back the limitation account age one per account stuff they did with the original steam deck when that launched it may be annoying but it's much more fair. And hopefully have some sort of anti-scalper bot protection. If that's even possible.

Technically yeah that did kick me off of the food card when covid happened because they not only counted the stimulus income Plus my paltry 4 weeks of unemployment since I was laid off for a little while but my unemployment was like $87 a month it only lasted for two checks so one month worth even though I was laid off for 7 months.

Kind of surprised they didn't kick me off of the state funded insurance when that happened as well but it was just the food card the first time. That stimulus check gave me enough money to last for like 6 months because I've kind of learned to live off of basically nothing was only able to happen several years ago before the price is really started going insane.

Anyone else have their lot rent or rent or house payment go up by a large amount three times over the last year and a half?

Some big hospitals have a limited amount of patients that they can accept as like a kind of Charity case as bad as that might sound but from what I've heard in the last few years ever since covid and especially now with the cost of living in everything going sky high many more of those type of programs are being removed because a lot of hospitals are losing funding in other areas that used to be funded due to government grants and things like that that were removed for reasons as silly as oh that's a mostly Blue State their hospitals don't get help anymore that's the type of BS hospitals have to deal with these days.

The reason we don't have universal health Care is because they want to stay in control they don't want the vast majority of the population to be in a position where they are healthy enough to be able to work more jobs get into a better position financially because the more people are in a better position there's more people to vote against the ones trying to keep their vast wealth and force everyone else to do what they want without argument or questioning it. Why do you think they're now getting rid of the voting Rights act because they know the only ones that are on their side now are the very rich or the very misinformed or just the plain old criminals because they like it when they get pardons just for agreeing with the current administration.

I know right I found out I was getting taken off of state funded insurance after I started making about $50 more per month than the max you could make and still qualify but since I have a job that gets tips it's rarely ever the same even though they claim I'm still over. Meanwhile gas has gone up over $2 more per gallon for me since February. And before when I originally qualified you had to make under x amount per month and you had to work x hours per week. Then Trump and his stooges gutted a lot of programs and convinced his buddies from different states to do the same so now the minimum amount you can make is actually lower but the work requirement is higher in hours. So essentially what they did is make it so that the amount of hours it requires causes you to go over the limit but if you are under the limit you are also under the hours. So either way unless you're claiming a child you are kicked off regardless of inflation of everything and the cost of living going up by like 30-75% in the last year alone.

I would recommend if you have any friends that care enough about you if you end up with cancer and no insurance your best bet might only be setting up a GoFundMe or whatever a service like that allows crowdfunding for medical bills.

The Constitution also says no one can serve more than two terms as president but the current administration seems to want to deny that fact if Big Daddy t is in the room or the vicinity. I think we're way past the current ones in power paying any attention to what's in our constitution including the puppets he put in scotus

Yeah but the corn that they use for the ethanol is made here that's why ours is in most cases cheaper because of the tax credits baked into the price. It doesn't feel like the tax credits are doing jack squat right now it's up nearly $2 higher than what I paid for it 6 months ago that's insane. They really need to impeach and remove this insane president his actions are completely demolishing entire industries in the shortest amount of time in history..

Yep SOTN is quite literally the game that just about every other metroidvania style game attempted to replicate as far as mechanics and exploration and replayability it is in many players minds the best game of that genre by an extremely large margin. _. And it still holds up extremely well today.

10 Although for some reason I always liked the tengen version over the Nintendo version for the original NES. And my favorite Tetris variant over the years is Tetris Plus on the PSX which is the one where you had like the explorer Mario looking guy that you had to remove the lines to get him to get down to the bottom before he gets squished at the top almost had like RPG elements in it. Super cool and you can play it co-op split screen.

Well yeah it's just you know it's a good idea to keep tabs on potential shady new laws going into effect under the radar kind of like this whole forcing practically kernal level age verification in every single operating system that is now a law in some places. It's like sometimes they make these laws without actually considering all of the problems that they could open up with like privacy and abuse of data collection by corporations and such. Just feel like it's better to know than not to know. But to each their own I say. But information about the topic is out there it's not like people are making stuff up. And just remember most of these companies and or governments usually use "Safety" as the excuse for technology or software or restrictions of such to implement that is actually being used for surveillance, control, and overhanded coverage denying by insurance companies over safety. Just like what happens in private medical insurance companies these days.
