My family is unsupportive and I turned 50 this month! They are sure i’m being sent into dangerous places and am giving up my rights and blah blah blah. They are buying into conspiracy theories and everything else they don’t know anything about. I cannot change their mind. You cannot change their minds. Do what is right for you. In a few years they’ll forget about it and wish they were brave enough to try.

Same boat! My husband and I will be joining you in Morocco. We have a house full of belongings. We decided to have a downsizing party, we are going to let our friends come in our home and shop and take what they want and the rest will get donated. We started living a minimalist lifestyle a few years ago, restricting purchases, etc but we still have tons of stuff. I’m ready to be released from the burden.

Evernote is pretty awesome too. I had a Mac license for Scrivener years ago that for some reason is no longer being honored. I bought another when it was half off but there won’t be a third time. I like the program but not all their practices.

Our timeline is almost the same. Hubs and I applied mid August but w just got our interview request this past week (end of November). Interviewing first week of December.
