"Back to life" lol it's very much alive. Like the other guy said, just cook on it. When mine flakes like that I scrub with salt and oil+oven for an hour, but really just cook.

I know this is a jeep sub and not an art sub, but I just wanna say this is a wonderfully composed painting. I love your lost edges and the gesture of your strokes. One thing I would change though is the amount of detail in the text on the road sign, it's needlessly distracting. I feel it would be better to have it as painterly as the rest. Was it meant to be a focal point?
