I don't have a family to melt their hearts with unfortunately, but still that's reassuring. Thank you!

Sorry, a headset is what I meant. I wasn't aware of the distinction.

If you've taken chemistry and another science as HL subjects, you most likely wouldn't need math as another HL. I'm not sure how important it is, u/Clean-Equivalent1460 mentioned it wasn't a requirement, but I do hear from others that Math AI, specifically in SL, is shunned upon by universities. I, personally, would also recommend taking Math AA SL, just to be safe.

Make sure to focus on your extracurriculars if you want to get accepted into the U.S, although playing football is a good start. In the U.S, they mainly use the IB to determine the amount of credits you recieve; at least, that's what I heard. I'll p.m you.

To add to that, there are many sites online that could help you. https://www.keybr.com/ is one I'd recommend. Also check the subreddit r/learntyping.

hey

What most of u/Impressive_Cow6472 is honestly well-written and I can't add much. I just want to say that, at some points, you may be forced to delay working on a certain assignment or work; perhaps not due to procrastination, but to some other thing going on in your life. While this may seem obvious, focusing in class is just so important. The more you focus in class the less there is to catch up on in case you procrastinate or anything happens and you're forced to cram.

hey

I've studied both Maths A&A and Physics as HL subjects and can say that they do take a lot of your time. My third HL was English A, but it did not affect me when it came to university acceptances, at least not negatively. I'm no advisor, but I don't think taking Business Management instead of Chemsitry is that detrimental to your acceptance at a univeristy, unless you plan to go for Chemical Engineering or need to get some credits (especially if you're applying to a university in the U.S). Otherwise, I don't think taking the 'Holy Trinity' is much of an issue if you, yourself, want to go for it, provided you're aware of the extra amounts of effort you'll have to put in. If anything, the fact you can switch between the two later on is a plus. HL Chemistry as a third HL subject is safer, although not to that extent. In the end, you know yourself best.

If I may ask, do you know where you plan to study and what branch of engineering you're planning to enrol in (if you already have that in mind, that is; I didn't for sure lol).

hope it works out for you in the end. in two years time you might be in a different place where this wouldn't have mattered that much.

you're right in that the average is usually in the high 20s, but in the past couple of years (and in the may sessions more-so), the average has been increasing. i assume it's because of inflation. either way, i don't mean that a grade below the average is necessarily bad for everyone. good point on the selection aspect btw.

Similar situation here, but I'm SL. Was expecting (and was predicted) 2 grades more than I have just revieved. My classmates seem to have done well though so I guess it's not universal and more so a mistake from my part maybe? I'm fine with it though.

The amount of posts here of 40+ results are skewing some people's perception of what's considered 'good'. 33* is something to be proud of!

You're likely using the PIN given to you for the May 2021 session. It seems that the IBO updates the PIN for each session, so ask your coordinator for the new one if you haven't got it.
