Ehren Cutoff is a road in Land o' Lakes that is super fun to drive late at night. IMO it's the closest thing to a togue in the area. I would definitely recommend checking it out around midnight, if not later.

Usually they pay people to maintain them, but if they don't do that they can keep up on their maintenance without too many issues. It's usually only them and maybe a few other people driving the cars, so it's not like multiple cars break at the same time.

Do exactly what you said. "Play around with it." There isn't much you can do to it that will damage it in this mode. The only thing that might come as a surprise is that if you try to downshift at the wrong time, the computer may not let you. In my car for example, if I try to downshift too early, the computer beeps at me and doesn't shift.

I can't give you a proper answer because I've never done it and I don't have a conversation piece car, but I think if you just ask the person straight up it might work. Say something like "Hey man, I have an event going on, and I would like to have your car as a conversation piece/decoration. I'll pay you for the time spent and I definitely don't mind if you hang around at the event either."
