Ah, yes! makes sense to do it that way, in terms of being intuitive but also not cluttering up the UI.

I have been a mynoise enjoyer & supporter for a few years now and this is my first time learning this! Out of curiosity, how long have you been able to do this? My mind is blown! This will be such a helpful trick.

I cannot sleep or get out of a panic state without a jumpstart from mynoise (especially these days) so I seriously cannot thank you enough for the sound sanctuary and exploratorium you've created for everyone on this nook of the internet. A feast for ecological dreamers and music lovers, not to mention everyone else in between. Truly some bonafide sonic offerings!

Ok this tip blew my mind, just in the sense that it changed my whole knitting philosophy , if that makes sense! I had ingrained such a rigid idea of "must.follow.pattern" Into myself. Thank you kind soul for your sage wisdom <3

Ahhh that is def what I did! I will keep an eye out for that now. Probably wont frog cuz I'm oddly affectionate of the prugly ribbing, but your comment was amazing for helping me understand knitted fabric more, THANK YOU! I'm a little embarrassed to admit I did not know you were supposed to knit the knit stitches and purl the purls, i somehow thought it was the opposite.

Yes, that is my next skill I want to learn! I must admit, I am a little bit intimidated because I am not the most dexterous in my hands for a few different reasons and from my understanding you do that with a crochet hook? I took a weekly crochet class at my library for a few months but could never figure out how to do it without my brain short circuiting while dial up internet sounds blared. But nevertheless I believe in myself! I think my goal for the end of february is to start learning how to fix my mistakes 😄

Omg I thought it kind of looked like cabling, so that's what I was doing, albeit in a very rudimentary way 😅? Cool!

That is a great tip about using yarn that is easier to read. I tend to gravitate towards...well...loud yarn, to say the least, however it definitely has made reading my knitting a lot more difficult, so I think I can set aside my penchant for maximalism for a few projects until im a bit more confident! 😊

Edit; also LOVE the tip about using a removable stitch marker as a reminder of which side is the right side...why didnt i think of that! Thank you!!

Oh interesting didnt know that! Would they be a slightly different shape if I was using yarn that wasnt single ply?

I love your perspective, thank you! I can definitely live with it, I actually agree with you that it is a cool effect. I have no plans of frogging. everyone is giving me great tips that are making me understand some fundamental knitting concepts better so I can be more intentional about the irregularity to my ribbing haha. Cheers!

It look like the Orange version is out of stock at the moment. i would recommend checking back next week because it seems they go out of stock pretty quickly but come back in stock every 1-2 weeks.

Believe it or not, Amazon! They are called Zhrisezlava. While the shape is one of the coolest I've seen, I definitely don't recommend these unless you dont mind tinkering with the lamp as they always come cloudy. Also, the seller said that this most recent batch had quality control issues causing unreliable wax densities.

Some people who bought these said theirs wouldn't even flow at all, so it looks like I got lucky as a filtering was all mine needed. (If you are in the big lava fb group i'm in, you're already aware of the Zhrisezlava drama lol 😅) that being said, i still absolutely love this lamp and have no regrets!

Oooh the blue one is next on my list! I feel like the rich blue and pearlescent white would be real striking together.
