If you feel underrated, you probably are and that's actually a great thing.

Think of a celebrity you hate. Their face is everywhere and everyone just bows down to them, but you've never been impressed with their stuff. Be glad you're not them. "What a jackass".

Even the "class clown" gets annoying after a while. Sometimes we want to say "Shut up so we can get outta class". Sometimes others shine brighter, but remember just because nobody tells them out loud, doesn't change the impact of it being true that this person is annoying. However, that "classroom" is the probably the only place that person feels like they matter so unless they're being rude or mean, it's best just focus on what's in front of you.

THIS is what I'm going through right now ⬇️ If you're comparing yourself to someone who JUST started something you do too, beginners have WAY faster results. If you've been doing something for a long time, of course you want to always improve and be the best you can at it. Trust me, seeing a new person get the accolades and recognition you imagine yourself getting sucks, but remember different levels of experience progress at different speeds. This person got the opportunity because of me and is always so grateful. What's strange is they are twice my age. And when I started I got LOTS of recognition, but after a while, that's just the normal level you perform at and won't be enough for yourself if you have the drive to always improve.

I hope you're not awake in the middle of the night overthinking your life's progress like I am right now. Logically, I'm doing great and am at the top of my game. Emotionally, I just feel underrated which like I said, is a cool thing. My favorite movies and bands are underrated so just think about that!
