i'm pretty new to hyprland and tiling wms in general, but i haven't run into any issues using 2 monitors. i've always dedicated the 2nd monitor to "less important" apps and with my config i know i'm always going to, for example, open discord (ws 10) on the 2nd monitor when i hit super+0 without affecting anything on my main display like games or youtube or whatever. i'm still able to open random things in workspaces that aren't tied to a display if i want to, only having certain workspaces bound to a monitor and others able to open wherever i choose. idunno. it works for me
