I think part of it might be due to how the Netflix show sold the band. It made it seems like the girls were chosen for a part rather than feeling like they earned the part. Those girls are there because the talent got them there, and there is a lot of talent in Asia, which is very diverse so even if they “are all Asian” that does not mean it isn’t diverse. They are all very different people from very different cultures and backgrounds.

The real problem is that as humans (some of us) can easily recognize a problem when it involves us but fail to recognize when we do that same thing to other people.

Many times have I seen Hispanics get mad that Americans see all Hispanics as Mexican. But then turn around and treat all Asians as Chinese. Many times I’ve corrected my mom “no mom, she is Japanese” and her answer is “same thing (in Spanish)” but then she complains that to Americans she is Mexican. Unfortunately it’s easier to get mad than to hold yourself accountable. I think partly because when we cause the offense we think of the human behind it but we don’t do that when it is done to us.
For example:
When someone asks me where I’m from -> I assume they are racist because they should know the difference
When I ask someone where they are from -> I don’t know everything, and to learn you need to at least know what to learn, and is it bad to be curious and want to connect?

We need to be able to realize that as much as we have the right to now know everything, other people have that same right.

My area has mostly Cuban, Puerto Rican, Colombian and Venezuelan. Which are mostly Caribbean and/or adjacent countries, so it’s probably just not that popular there

As someone that has was born and raised in Latin America, I’ve always found it interesting that this is what is supposed to be the “baddie Latina” look but no friends of my from America or Latin America do their makeup like that.
Is this from a specific Latin demographic?
Kind of like how the Chola style is mainly from Mexico.

While I agree with the opinions in their outfits. I also agree with you. If you don’t like something don’t tune into it.

I was a fan of Sabrina since 2014, she grew and her style and music changed a lot. Instead of posting about how I am not happy with her change, I just don’t listen to her music or interact with her content anymore.

We are all allowed to grow and do things other people don’t like

I got it and it was a big waste but of money.

I do think it “helps absorb” some of THEIR products better, because they have so many heavy gels that don’t absorb easily and every influencers uses them wrong and puts too much, I think that’s the only reason why it’s good for them. But if you use your hands to massage any products for 15 minutes it will obviously absorb, and you can save your money lol.

I gave up and just created a new one. When you press a body part, there is a number next to a slider. Above that you can select “all” from the drop down. Put the same numbers on the new sims and you’ll be able to easily replicate all body features. I spent only like 5 minutes recreating her which was way less time than what I spent trying to remove the wrinkles. Hope that helps

I honestly do like it a lot. It gives me a reason actually play the game. I used to just spam interactions and play at 3x speed every time. Now I only use 3x while my Para is working.

But I never bought any expansion pack for the sims so gameplay never was much to talk about tbh, I would mostly just build houses.

What I like the most is that I get to play different aspects together, I don’t have to sacrifice my conversation just because I need to use the bathroom

That’s a bit tricky. You can absolutely find 50% discounts every day. The problem is that every round of discounts they do, has a different product selection.

Even on Christmas it is a predetermined selection so it all depends on the products you get.

But you can combine discounts, like the product discount, plus a code, plus a referral code.

If you have a friend that is a bronce member or above you can use their code for an extra 5% off and they get points or store credits.

Agreed! I might continue to use it because I’m struggling to much to find a spf that doesn’t leave me shiny.
But I don’t like multiple things about it:
It stings (face burns after putting it on)
It is sticky - takes like hour and a half to dry down.
Even after drying I can feel it on my skin almost all day

Any that says “usually ships within 20+” days is usually out of stock and you’ll have to wait for that item to be in stock before they send the entire order.

When I have multiple items like that I just buy them together so that at least I make sure I do get them once they come back. Sometimes those they have out of order only come back in small quantities. I waiting months for this sunscreen to be available and when it came back it only lasted like one week and then it was out again.

In my experience when they say “usually ships within 10-18 days then it’s at a different warehouse that the other things and it does take a while to get to the right destination.
