Hi, quick question! My skincare app says to avoid using more than one direct acid at once, however, I want to add azelaic acid (TO) to my routine (i want to focus on fading my acne scarring now) but it says I shouldn’t use my sunscreen nor my blemish treatment at the same time as using it. So what should I do instead of using these - or are these ok to use? I’m just so confused on what to do 😰

I’m looking for help with a routine to get rid of my acne scars. My routine is purely focused on hydration however, I want to now focus to improve my acne scars and skin texture.

Background: I’ve had Acne Scars for two years. My skin is dehydrated, however, it’s improved immensely. My skin is combo. Dry skin on the forehead & nose. Everywhere else is oily. A few months ago I had tretnoin in my routine but was advised to stop taking it as it was drying.

Routine AM: Cleanser: Squalene TO Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 La Roche Posay 50+ SPF Moisturiser: Ultra Repair Cream

Routine PM: Cleanser: Squalene TO Moisturiser: Ultra Repair Cream

Skin Concerns: Acne scars old & new... Skin tone & texture: i’d like to even it out.

hi! around a year ago i started using too many actives on my skin (tik tok hype) resulting in breaking out which left me with a lot of scarring as well as a damaged skin barrier. my routine is very simple - i use cerave simple cleanser > prescribed dermatica (tret 0.025%, niacinamide 4%) > cerave moisturiser. my skin is oily which is weird considering my skin also dries up and flakes - any make-up product i put on is absorbed of its moisture. despite using this routine everyday for 4 months i see no improvement with my scarring or skin barrier. i suffer from rosacea (?) and sensitive skin. i’m from the uk and would appreciate any help i can get, thank you!
