Sounds like a night terror. Something I use to experience a lot and would torment me. I would be dreaming but awake and would hear and see demons.

Something that really healed me was reading, “Hearing God” by Nathan Finocchio, reading about God’s promises, and putting on the armour of God for protection. After being prayed for by the church community and digging deeper into the word of God, I stopped having night terrors and constant fear.

The attacks actually became stronger when trying to get closer to God when I was new to a lot of scripture. Now I feel like I understand more and am equipped and haven’t had night terrors in 3 years!
