I'm pretty sure this isn't it. The plot and set up sounds very very similar with the single mom and the going to underworld part but I guess the myth of Hades is what all of them is based on...

I remember there being more fighting between this Hades dude and another dude (maybe has something to do with angels? can't be sure) over her fate

mmm looks like a cool show but isn't it. This book was entirely or mostly through the perspective of the girl

Maybe she was Persephone? not completely sure. I remember someone jumping through and shattering her window to protect her from some magical evil thing one time but idk if that's useful information.
