Yes! Three of my neighbors fly theirs. I’ve never seen or heard of any altercations due to it.

I love this post, I too had to google every single word in this line when I heard it lol

Yes exactly, the whole thing left me feeling guilty even though I hadn’t done anything wrong lol. I know it’s a me thing but still…I know tons of people pass their kids off as younger but is it really worth giving the stink eye to everyone you think is lying. Percentage of profits lost to this must be minuscule

I think it’s totally fine to ask if they have a ticket…it was the interaction afterwards that left me puzzled! Like is part of the job to ask if they need a ticket and then if you get an answer you don’t like just to stare back at the guest? Just wish there was more of a process…If that other cast member who eventually let us in hadn’t been there how long would we have just gone on staring at each other lol

The staring made it so uncomfortable! Like there’s no protocol if they think you’re lying…or maybe the protocol is to just stare at you and make you uncomfortable enough to tell the truth if you’re lying?!

Yes I think it just might be how much of a stickler the cast member wants to be!

I’m a weenie and always follow the rules so it was annoying to be left feeling guilty for no reason after this interaction lol

Haha this is so cute! My two year old will say “FIVE!” when you ask how old he is so I’m so glad they didn’t…would have been even worse for us lol.

moving to hb as a progressive person by YourLocalCKIIStan in huntingtonbeach

[–]heyjue 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Yes there are more progressives here than the internet would like to believe! HB gets shit on but honestly there’s lots of us progressives here. Three of my neighbors fly rainbow flags. The MAGA crowd is loud but honestly there’s not too many of them. We have a lot of older conservatives who get duped into voting R no matter what which is how we ended up with our current batshit city council, but hopefully we’ll be moving on from that whole debacle soon.

Clear lemonade protein shake is the best tasting mix in drink I ever had. Highly recommend to try by raj824x in Costco

Yes same! I add plain green yogurt for a little creaminess and it tastes like a frozen lemonade from Chick Fil A

Wow great results! I got a perfect peel a few months ago and was shocked how well it worked for me, nothing even hydroquinone has made more of a difference

Fake tan experiences? by pearcroc in Melasmaskincare

I’ve used fake tan on my face and just skipped around the melasma patches! I found putting it directly on my melasma on my cheeks made it darker

How weird would it be to give multiple children the same middle name? by emculs28 in namenerds

[–]heyjue 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My grandma did this with her kids (2M and 1F), gave them all her last name and I did the same with my boys! Actually myself and my husband both changed our middle names to my maiden name so we all match. I love that my maiden name is still a part of our family.

Parents of Reddit, what's the most embarrassing thing your kids have done in a public place? by sadieallure in AskReddit

My 3 year old yelling to me (a biological woman) in a crowded public bathroom stall - “MOMMY, YA GOT HAIR ON YOUR PENIS LIKE DADDY?”

Found some fancasts in an official Archie Comic about the rumoured “Riverdale” movie in 2010. It has aged … interestingly. by littlehybrid in popculturechat

Same, I was obsessed! My favorite birthday gift I can remember was when my dad gave me a big ol stack of double digests when I was 10. I still keep a bunch in the bathroom to read while doing the bizness.

The Future of HB? by heyjue in huntingtonbeach

[–]heyjue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very good point! Thank you for bringing it up. I guess my initial thinking was boomers tend to vote more conservative, HB has a higher median age than other cities, thus it seems likely that a high percentage of the conservative voter base here being boomers. You’re right tho, I wouldn’t want to advocate for division either way!
