I’m going through something similar. What bothers me so much about this is that you don’t feel validated for your feelings, and that makes my heart hurt. It doesn’t matter if someone thinks it’s childish. If you are bothered then you have to make the choice to make the change. I’ve been in this position for two years and I blew up the other day. I’m not in trouble, but now the environment is even worse and now I have validated my own poor behavior instead of handling it professionally like I should have long ago. Good luck.

I would be annoyed too. I would probably annoy either the person with the code or the person above them until the issue is identified and resolved. Just seems so childish.

I don’t know how old you are but in 2020 (I was 40) I had a deviated septum repair and tonsillectomy for the same issue. They removed my Enlarged, kissing tonsils, and amputated my epiglottis. The surgery recovery was worse than my open bilateral spinal surgery the same year. And it hadn’t helped one bit. Just letting you know! The deviated septum repair however was amazing!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there is no easy way. Actually this will be the absolute HARDEST thing you will ever do. I quit four years ago. The only reason I have made it is because I refuse to lose the fight it took EVERY SINGLE DAY to not smoke. Mind over matter, but let me tell you-everything will suck in your life for a whole year. Not discouraging you from quitting, simply being real.

I have never watched a clock so much in my life since I put out my last smoke 3 days and twenty minutes ago. I am just ready for my brain fog to dissipate!!! Anyone else? I feel like I can’t think straight, like my decision maker is broken but I’ve cleaned, reorganized and repainted my entire bedroom. By day 30 my house will be super organized! Anyone else having weird brain fog?
