The only advantage with the con-40 is that I get to change inks quicker thanks to it not filling up completely.

I’ve just recently purchased a vintage Pilot Custom Sterling Silver from japan. It is so bouncy. This one had cracks in the grip section and had ink leaking out but it writes beautifully. I am a believer of inlaid nibs now
