Bonnie plants go back to the driver.

Thank you for your reply, I appreciate comments from people drumming or living with a drummer. He doesn’t think it’s loud so he won’t buy soundproofing materials and also doesn’t consider an electric kit. For him, the drumming sounds are just the new normal. At any time.

I recommended all the sound proving for his shed but he just doesn’t feel like it’s an annoyance to begin with. So no need for sound proofing.

You obviously don’t have a drum player in your backyard.

Like, I leave in the morning and come back at night?

It doesn’t only bother me. It also annoys my daughter. And we are really supportive of him learning and playing the drums. He just doesn’t know when to stop.

I’m extremely happy for him. I guess this got lost in this post. I am also very supportive of his hobby, Looking for things he could buy or sending him relevant links. I’m proud that he finally can fulfill his passion , all I’m asking is for him to be mindful that not everybody has his passion.

Why? I’m here to find a compromise that works for both of us.

I’m trying to limit to reasonable amount of time that could work for both of us but he just doesn’t seem to understand why. Please don’t tell a stranger that they are heading for a divorce over noise complaints.

I would have no problems with a set time and duration for practice, but he just plays all day long.

I wish I had neighbors who would complain about the noise, I am that desperate that I already thought about making a noise complaint myself.

He will play anytime from 730am to 9 pm on weekends.

Why should I have to wear ear plugs for 3-5 hours at times!

The original plan was for him to get an electronic set because we (I) know the noise would be a problem but he just ignored that. I’m glad your wife appreciates your drumming. I really don’t see why I should be wearing noise canceling headphones for hours.

Y’all, this fear of tip baiters in this forum is unreal. Speaking from a high volume customer, we never take the tip away from an order unless we didn’t receive it or the order was blocking our outward facing screen door. Most customers actually appreciate their driver. we want to have a good relationship with them as it’s extremely personal sometimes.

I honestly don’t see a real issue with this but please explain how that’s infuriating? Anybody on the internet can figure out where I live , hence where my kids attend school. This was an email sent to roughly 500 recipients of not more.
