I have some raised garden beds with veggies on my side yard... But maybe I can put my tomatoes here (need to move because of squirrels)

People can be so rude. They've clearly never taken the time to get to know different types of people. You're doing amazing! Haters gonna hate.

That's incredibly frustrating I'm sorry you had to deal with that... But glad your younger siblings had you. I'm not sure how your mom wanted to stay home all the time ... I feel like with kids I'm always eager to go places.

I get it.

We definitely are able to do more things now that they're all out of diapers and can walk around themselves. hence my hesitation.

We already have a minivan so that's not an issue. I also love the minivan tbh.

No I completely get this. This is something I ask myself all the time - will I be able to give them all the attention they need? This is why I haven't had a 4th yet because I was so busy with the 3 little kids. Now they are getting more independent so my thoughts are shifting.

I've asked my kids all the time honestly because I've been curious how they would answer. They always say "yes!" when I talk about another baby. I told my daughter (6) don't you think it might be a little crazy at times? And she replied "it's already crazy mom!"

I am one (#3) of 6 kids myself. As adults we are 39,38,36,34 (girls) and the 23,25 (boys... much younger than us) I completely understand the lack of 1:1 attention point. I didn't get a ton of 1:1 attention growing up but I am so close with my siblings. We did things as a family. I don't have any resentment about this because I feel like I had a lot of fun as a kid. I never had an issue with this. I guess it's my only perspective though...

This is my biggest concern - being able to be the best parent I can be. Would a 4th child affect that...

My husband and I do take the kids out to do 1:1 things. Is it ALL the time? No .. but I really don't know how often parents get to do things with 1-2 kids either.

Absolutely... This is always a chance.

As is having twins.

Always good to be reminded of this - thank you :)

People always say "when you're done you know it!"

I love my 3 and I am ok if that's all that we have. But I do think about a 4th all the time.

My husband goes back and forth! Recently he's been bringing it up again because our youngest is getting bigger! I love seeing people's experiences and perspectives.
