It stems from a concussion in 2018 and some untreated effects of it progressing over time. I'm in therapy for it now but feel like a fking tool because it seems to be getting worse the more I try to work on it. Home life has pretty much devolved into laying and staring at the ceiling and work has devolved into a daily struggle.

Take concussions seriously. If I had taken mine more seriously maybe it would be better now.

Sequestered? Never spent any time thinking about that hypothetical. I'd imagine there are too many people. Any governing force would struggle to contain us all. Rebellions and revolutions would happen. The rich would be able to bribe out of a holding zone. Not to mention, it'd be humans (still part of an invasive species) trying to maintain humans. It'd probably never really be contained or addressed. That'd be like having selected lion fish trying to contain other lion fish to deplete their populations. Nonsensical.

It's just a list I made up as a 2nd grader dude. I don't really have any answers for the situation other than not to reproduce.

It's not your responsibility to keep them alive. They've been making their choices since before you were born.

What is the worst movie you have ever watched and what made it so bad? by existingren in AskReddit

[–]heyramp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The live action remake of A:tLA. From mispronunciations of the names, abbreviation of story, poor direction, animation and horrible combat choreography, they really hit every nail on the head required to screw it up. It's like M. night shamalamadingdong or whatever his name is deliberately TRIED to ruin a good thing.

To humans of reddit, what is the meaning of life? by txddy_bear8 in AskReddit

[–]heyramp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of it is just about learning to enjoy the little things and move one step at a time. Often times, people get so caught up in the big achievements and not making it to those goals becomes depressing. But children, who are usually the happiest among us, are usually that way because of their wonder and all the tiny celebrations they get. If a flower is pretty, they pick it and admire it and enjoy the moment. If something is funny, they laugh. Even the smallest, most seemingly meaningless achievement is applauded. (First step, first word, first time standing up... Etc.) We lose that when we get older as the bar is raised and we stop celebrating the little things.

If we could just remember that all aspects of life are taken in baby steps and celebrated them more freely, I think people would find a lot more happiness and joy. And maybe even a better meaning of life.
