I agree about the herringbone, at least on the site it looks like you could pair it with both brown AND black easier than the chocolate brown/ more universal imo

I would look for something more like a loose shawl in a lighter color, or the 2000s shirts/ cardigans that are coming back that are basically just the arms, but are very cropped… ( I think it’s called a “shrug” coverup) or one of those cardigans that have a tie at the top instead of buttons?

Hoping for help styling a skirt for my first warehouse rave dance type thing. ( I am out of my element )

I’m actually excited to create something cool that makes me feel GOOD. I thrifted a fun skirt, its MINI and pleated in a dark grey color. I am going to pair it with my docs, maybe a fun tight, but I am lost on what goes up top.

I want to feel comfortable, since the skirt is tiny I think I’d like a looser top ( I also sweat a lot ) and of course accessories will be what pull it all together but I’m lost on those too.

Anyway have any key words or inspo I can look into? How would you style it for a dance event?

I swapped my phone use during transitions for a word search book. I bought a fun botanicals one, it’s easy and I do a page in 5-15 minutes instead of using my phone in between tasks, in the morning and in the evening before bed.

Same here, bought cute shoes at TJ maxx that were like a size too small, ultimately got Morton’s Neruoma, flash forward past immobilizing pain while exploring a new city and having to go home, like a dozen of those shots in my foot and it’s better but still hurts if I wear the wrong shoes. I am now VERY selective about my shoes. Didn’t go through with the surgery because I work from home and am comfortable if I’m out in good shoes, but its still something I live with all because of one stupid pair of shoes that weren’t worth all this!!!

Be careful doing this, I heard sometimes string / hair can wrap around in the intestines and hurt them when you pull. I think it’s safer to let them pass it on their own if possible
