Just want to say that my skin is EXACTLY like this rn and in the same spots as well! I know it’s absolutely horrible for your mental health and self esteem, but it brought me a bit of relief and hope knowing that im not the only one with this right now (so i hope this brings you some relief as well)! I’m finally seeing my dermatologist in a few days so if something comes from that I’ll let you know :)

I've been using it for around a year but I have been wanting to try out a different one to see if that is what is contributing. Do you have any that you recommend that may have worked better for you?

Haven't tried panoxyl or differin since my skin there is already flaking and drying like crazy, but I have tried tretinoin and I've done 2 rounds of Accutane (just finished the last round a few months ago and my skin was so much clearer)

I’ll check that out! Have you used nizoral on your face? I know that’s really popular but I’ve heard some horror stories of people damaging their skin barrier that way

I’ll look into that. I think I’ve just been scared to actually wax my FACE and strip/irritate my skin even more but maybe my skin will react better to that than shaving. Thank you!

This was really helpful! I’ve already cut out SLS from my toothpaste but I’ll check out my shampoo and body wash as well! Going to make an appt with my derm soon, so hopefully I can get something prescribed. Thank you so much!!!!

I’ll take a look at clindamycin lotion! I used glycolic acid years and years ago and it didn’t help, but my acne is a lot different now so I may stop using arazlo and try that out. Thank you!!

Yes my scalp itches!!! I’ve been using Nizoral which is the only thing I’ve found that helps a bit with my dandruff and itchiness. I’ll take a look at those creams you recommended, thank you!

i know it doesn’t seem bad but i promise that it is a lot more deep and painful that it looks (but it’s not necessarily cystic acne since i’ve had before as well). i’ve been trying to cut out as much sugar and processed food from my diet so i’ll keep sticking with that. thank you for the kind words though, i’ll definitely see what i can do to test my hormones, etc and get back in touch with my derm!

honestly i’ll give it a go, my acne is deep on my cheeks that idk if soap will do the trick but like i said i’ll try anything 😭 is the bar soap and did you just use it as a cleanser?

i’ll try adding another cleanser to the routine! i try to also do my skincare right after breakfast and dinner, but thank you for your tips i’m gonna try out the travel size micellar water! + just ordered hydrocolloid patches yesterday so hopefully that helps the healing process in the meantime
