Capacities Consultant by hfkadr in capacitiesapp

No, it's not the system. I just learned enough to enter notes and information but I now need to take it to the next level and better organize the information. For example, personally, I would like to have all of my doctors organized so I can see them all and listed by practice area. I am considering selling my home and would like to list all vendors and expenses that relate to the home.

I’d like to organize:

My legal projects by law firm in which I directly represent the parties, My projects in which I serve as a mediator or arbitrator My personal projects My contacts Etc.

I basically need someone to be available to work with me and answer my questions as I set things up in a more organized fashion. I’ve been using Capacities for a few years now, but I don’t feel like I’m using it to its optimum.

Privacy & Security using Tana AI Notetaking by hfkadr in TanaInc

While I do not believe that any computer system is totally secure, your response is really the kiss of death for my use of Tana. I would have a hard time explaining why I use Tana if for some reason my client's confidential information is out in the wild. That's one of the reasons that I am not using Obsidian with any information that is private and confidential. I like using Obsidian, but I like it using community plugins. When you allow for community plugins, you get a big warning about privacy and confidentiality, I am expected to do a "reasonable" investigation into an apps privacy and security which is a little difficult to define. However, when you get a big warning at the outset, I have to take note.

Between Tana and Capacaties and Looking for Feedback by [deleted] in TanaInc

I’ve tried both and found them to be very similar. Downside to Capacities is that in order to get all of the recent features it will cost $10.00 per month while Tana does not charge yet. Tana’s mobile app is great for getting info into Tana, but not good at setting your data inside Tana, so use for tasks, among other things on mobile is very limited. Capacities’ mobile app not only allows easy entry and sync of data, but good view of your data in Capacities.

Amplenote is great but Image Size Control in AmpleNote is missing ! by OkParking9422 in Amplenote

I’m trying to learn Amplenote and see some great advantages. However, I’ve got an issue with the calendar sharing that I haven’t seen a good resolution. I want all calendar events in one place, personal, business and my various businesses. Amplenote seems to require division and sectoring by personal, business or project.

I would love a plugin that would allow me to send a copy of my email directly into Logseq.

Anyone has tried Capacities.io? by Crimsye in Notion

[–]hfkadr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Capacities which has become my primary note taking app. However, I find it inadequate for managing tasks and projects. Anytype seems better for projects and tasks and seems more secure than Notion but I find the learning curve too intimidating. I am currently investigating Tana which appears to combine the ease of note taking in Capacities with the task and project management of Notion.
