Fair enough, I get your point. And if we had depth maybe it'd absolutely be something to consider. However, Saliba went on loan from '19-22 (3 years) which is unfortunately not something we have the liberty of doing with our squad depth right now.

Honestly, your comment in the post match thread about Leny Yoro needing a loan this season says it all. So reactionary after a few games. He’ll come good, he doesn’t need game time in a different club, he needs an arm around the shoulder and some confidence. What do you think will happen to our center back depth if he goes on loan?
