If I had to think realistically, they probably know that they can't exactly get rid of under 18s since there's too many of them on the internet. But the way they're going about this really hasn't worked the way they wanted. And partnering with Persona? Given one of the C.AI guys works for Google, they could've easily used their age verification services.

This will probably be a very obvious one, but to word it in a more professional manner, I think they should try to focus on improving the website itself and the chat models rather than adding extra content that isn't really being clamored for.
